Adrian Desmond finished feeding the horse and when he returned to the room he shared with Sienna Johnson, she had already prepared his bathwater and laid out fresh clothes for him.
Sienna, once she cares for a man, makes sure to look after him well.
"Finished feeding the horse?"
"Mm."
Sienna shook her head after hearing from Sally about the origins of that horse.
Buying that horse was expensive, not to mention the imported feed it eats, and they even hired someone specifically to take care of it—almost as costly as raising a child.
"Why did you buy such an expensive horse? It's such a waste of money..." Deep down, Sienna still has a thrifty mindset.
"When the weather's nice, I'll take you for a ride on it; then you'll understand why.
This horse is like women; beautiful women and not-so-beautiful women feel different when you 'ride' them, and naturally the value is different too."
"Shallow!"
