The ambulance arrived, but there was no way to rescue Paige Desmond.
The car was already deformed, and Paige Desmond was trapped inside, so the firefighters were called in for extrication.
Everyone recognized Kiya, and crowds surged from all directions, eager to catch a glimpse of the Sultan.
"It's okay, Paige, you'll be okay, you'll definitely be okay..." Kiya wasn't sure if he was comforting Paige Desmond or himself.
"..."
"Paige, wake up, don't sleep." He pinched Paige Desmond's cheek hard, trying to wake her, but she didn't respond at all. Kiya hoarsely shouted, "Paige, wake up! I command you, don't sleep!"
He was terrified that if this woman fell asleep, she might never open her eyes again.
The media also arrived, reporting live on the scene, with people recognizing the injured Paige Desmond as the former Princess Consort, sparking more curiosity and gossip about the accident.
"Everyone shut the ~hell up!" Kiya found the noise overwhelming and cursed at the crowd.
