Today was quite strange, they hadn't even met Xun Yuan, and yet were willing to give him their food.
Did the sun rise in the west?
Or has her daughter changed her ways?
An Ziqi was puzzled.
Over there, Xun Yuan smiled as he reached out to take the drink from Xiao Qian'ai's hand. He hadn't even managed to grasp it when the little one seemed unable to hold it and let go.
The glass full of drink fell straight from her hand.
As luck would have it, the entire large cup of drink spilled all over Xun Yuan's pants, making it look like he'd wet himself, while the glass fell and hit somewhere delicate.
"Hiss," Xun Yuan grunted, sucking in a sharp breath.
An Ziqi was instantly dumbfounded, quickly getting up to pick Xiao Qian'ai off the table.
The drink spilled in such an awkward spot that she couldn't help him, so she could only stammer apologetically.
"Mr. Xun, I'm sorry, are... are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
Xun Yuan replied through gritted teeth, holding his abdomen in pain.
