Huang Ying shoved the backpack into Yang Xiaoqing's hands, "You go quickly."
Then she pulled An Ziqi, twisting and turning, into a small alley.
This was the back alley of a food street, with various snack smells mingling in the air and hitting the two.
The gunfire behind them intensified, clearly indicating that Xiao Moli's men in the supermarket had noticed something was wrong and quickly came out.
An Ziqi felt a slight relief in her heart; now, all they needed was to find a safe place to hide until Xiao Moli's men found her.
Her eyes scanned the surroundings, spotting a slightly open back door nearby, and she swiftly pulled Huang Ying inside.
She closed the door behind them and quickly surveyed the room.
It seemed to be the kitchen of a shop selling spicy hot vermicelli; several bowls were freshly prepared, bubbling with hot broth on the table in front.
They looked fiery red and smelled equally enticing.
