In the corridor.
Everyone stood straight, Lucas Scott stood closest to the room door.
He had just taken a bath, wearing a white bathrobe, hands casually in his pockets, standing proudly with an imposing aura.
He remained silent, and no one around dared to speak.
The solemn atmosphere affected everyone here, even the usually irreverent Chad Yakov held onto Victoria Gibson without saying a word.
Everyone was waiting, waiting for a result.
"Click!" The room door opened from the inside.
The doctor emerged from the room, reaching up to remove his mask.
"Mr. Scott, I have conducted a checkup on Madam, and indeed there are signs that her bodily functions are recovering. However, this doesn't mean she will wake up."
"What do you mean by that?" Lucas Scott's facial expression darkened, the joy in his eyes extinguished as if by a douse of cold water.
