Lucas Scott was grinning with such smugness that even Evelyn Sherman, standing next to Chester Yale, was almost unable to watch.
She only felt the chill emanating from Chester Yale, as if it could freeze people into ice cubes.
But Lucas Scott wasn't wrong; Chester Yale indeed didn't have a granddaughter, only two grandsons. She had often witnessed him glaring while blowing his mustache at those little buddies, wishing he could pack them up and throw them into a trash bin!
Every day he would complain in her ear, saying he wanted a granddaughter. If Evelyn Sherman could, she'd gladly give him a daughter.
But she worried that if she gave birth to another son, Chester Yale might truly go insane...
"Lucas Scott, don't be smug. When Isla gets married, I fear the most pitiful person will be you." Chester Yale gritted his teeth, refusing to admit defeat. At this moment, besides feigning calmness, he really couldn't bring himself to smile.
