Howard wiped away the tears on his face haphazardly, turned his head towards Jack's tombstone, and without looking back, ran up the mound.
"Jack... Jack, it's me, Howard... I'm your favorite Howard... Can you please come out?" Howard squatted on the mound, stretched out his fleshy little hand, and started digging into the soil.
"Jack, please come out, I'll give you all the ice cream cakes. Please come out quickly, I miss you so much, I haven't seen you for two years."
Howard kept throwing dirt down as if as long as he cleared all the dirt from the mound, Jack would reappear in front of him.
"Wuu wuu wuu... Jack, are you mad at me? Why won't you come out..."
After digging for a while, without any results, Howard sat on the mound and started crying again.
Everywhere, sobs formed a chorus, and a cloud of sadness permeated the area.
Joshua Sulliven stepped forward a few steps and lifted Howard off the mound, but usually obedient Howard refused to cooperate this time.
