Glancing at the man beside her, Riley Sully took the initiative to ask, "How much longer will it take?"
"I estimate it will take another half an hour," Shane Winchester replied in a warm voice, turning to look at the woman beside him.
She had only lightly put on makeup herself, yet she was already stunningly beautiful. It wasn't a flashy, radiant kind of beauty, but rather a subdued brilliance that silently emanated from her.
"Is there a convenience store nearby? I'm a bit thirsty."
Shane Winchester snapped out of his thoughts and parked the car in front of a convenience store. As Riley Sully was about to get off the car, he said, "Wait here for me."
Riley Sully didn't refuse. It wasn't until she saw his figure enter the convenience store that she anxiously rummaged through her bag, hurriedly swallowing a pill, like a child worried about being caught doing something wrong.
