When Philip Shaw came by, Aldana Candi had just started eating dinner.
She was able to move freely now and didn't need to sit in bed to eat every day. The private hospital room had a small dining area for patients, and since she could get out of bed, Aldana Candi had been eating there.
Her body hadn't fully recovered; she couldn't eat anything too greasy. The food on the table consisted of simple, light ingredients, and after she finished eating, there was a bowl of old hen ginseng soup specially prepared to help her recover.
Seeing Philip Shaw come in, Aldana Candi was slightly stunned, unable to understand why he had come back after just leaving.
The young nurse came in with the meal, cheerfully saying to Aldana Candi, "Miss Candi, Mr. Shaw is joining you for dinner today."
Aldana Candi lowered her eyes silently and put down her chopsticks: "...Well, I'm full."
Philip Shaw paused his movement of pulling out a chair and lifted his gaze to look at Aldana Candi's face.
