Aldana Candi sat alone with her head down eating the bowl of noodles, and during her meal, Philip Shaw sat across from her watching her. He rested his face, leisurely, his gaze falling on her, making her feel uneasy.
Aldana raised her head and said, "Didn't you say you were going downstairs to have dinner with your mom? You should go now."
Philip Shaw chuckled lightly, seeming naturally indifferent, "Of course, I was lying to her."
Aldana was shocked by his calm manner; his mom seemed like such a difficult person, she couldn't fathom how she would trouble her later.
She continued eating her rice noodles with her head down, "Your mom might have misunderstood the relationship between us."
Philip Shaw raised an eyebrow, "What do you think our relationship is?"
Aldana retorted, "What do you think our relationship is?"
Philip Shaw chuckled again, but this time he said nothing.
