"Oh, crap...!" He pulled back his hand, cursing under his breath, while Aldana Candi found herself slightly embarrassed. That sharp "smack" in the darkness was loud enough to echo.
"Don't look at things you shouldn't." Philip Shaw spoke slowly only after delivering the slap.
The blond youth rubbed his reddened hand and couldn't help but complain after hearing Philip's words, "You could have just said it, why resort to hitting?"
"If I hadn't, you would have taken the mask off." Philip glanced at him, "Would saying it have worked?"
"..." The one who hits is always justified, "I can't argue with that."
Aldana watched from the side and realized that these two indeed seemed to be friends, and quite good ones at that.
The young man noticing her amused look, cleared his throat, composed himself, and extended a hand towards her, "I'm Jim Sinclair, a pleasure to meet you."
Aldana gently shook his hand, "Aldana Candi."
