The intense pain caused the gigantic creature to emit an indescribable wail. It rolled around on the ground, kicking up a cloud of gray dust. Finally, with a "crack," the arrow that Philip Shaw shot into its eye was snapped off as it rubbed against the ground, the arrowhead deeply embedded in its right eye. When it raised its head again, all that was left was a blood-soaked black hole.
Aldana Candi stood on the tree, clearly witnessing the appearance of this strange creature.
Its body was robust, with short, thick limbs, covered in bristle-like fur that reflected a jet-black sheen in the sunlight. Because it was so large, Aldana found it difficult to call forth a specific name for it from her mind, but looking at the conical snout protruding from its muzzle and its longer-than-usual mouth, she found it oddly familiar.
Aldana grasped the tree trunk in confusion and uttered two words—"Wild boar?"
But do wild boars eat people? Can the wild boars here grow this big?
