"What did I say? I didn't say anything!" Peter Gingery quickly grabbed Jane Sampson's luggage and sprinted into the room.
It was like he was running for his life.
Jane Sampson stood there, feeling both amused and helpless, watching Peter Gingery's back for a few seconds before walking over to Old Master Black.
"Grandfather." Jane Sampson directly linked arms with Old Master Black, "You look especially energetic. Did you just come back from the cemetery?"
"You're the smartest, nothing can be hidden from you." Old Master Black chuckled and tapped Jane Sampson's nose, "I heard you came running back late at night a few days ago to console James Black? You young folks really know how to be romantic."
Jane Sampson stuck out her tongue, thinking Old Master Black was about to start lecturing her, but unexpectedly, he just mentioned it and said no more.
Once the two got inside the door, Peter Gingery handed Jane Sampson a glass of juice, "Aunt just made this, have some."
