"I've arranged to have morning tea tomorrow with Jillian and a friend of mine who's a psychologist. You're right, Jillian has become increasingly extreme over the years. We should have thought of this sooner."

After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson was in a great mood and even started chatting to James Black about what she'd cook for mom when Mother Carter visits.
"Whatever you cook is delicious," James Black said as he parked the car in the garage, then opened the car door for Jane Sampson. "You're great at cooking; mom will definitely enjoy anything you make."
Jane Sampson squinted at James Black and grinned, linking her arm with his as they entered the elevator.
