"Three-meter axe?" The image of a three-meter big axe appeared in Jane Sampson's mind, and she couldn't hold back, bursting into laughter.
Someone who was frightened awake by a nightmare a second ago is lying there laughing like a fool the next second.
"Not scared anymore?" James Black's arm slid under her head, letting her use it as a pillow.
"Still a little scared, but I feel more like laughing." Jane snuggled closer to James Black, puckering her lips at him, "I want a kiss for comfort."
"Such a baby." James Black tapped Jane Sampson's forehead with his fingertip, not hard, just a small petting motion full of affection.
He leaned over to give her a kiss and then tucked her quilt, "Close your eyes and go to sleep, tomorrow morning you have to get up early to go to the airport."
Only then did Jane Sampson let out a satisfied sound, closed her eyes, and slowly fell asleep again in James Black's arms.
