After speaking, Father Lancaster waved his hand, "Go upstairs and clean yourself up, then come down to meet the Edwards Family members."
Emily Lancaster nodded, wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes, and slowly went upstairs.
Father Lancaster regretted hitting his daughter just now, but with Father Edwards and his daughter arriving, he didn't have time to speak more with his daughter, turned around to greet the guests, so no one noticed Emily quietly curl the corner of her mouth into a smile as she turned and went upstairs.
Two minutes later, Amber Edwards followed her father into the Lancaster Family home.
Father Edwards managed to maintain a slight smile on his face, while Amber Edwards's face was sullen. She saw Father Lancaster but remained silent until Father Edwards prompted her to greet, at which point Amber reluctantly said, "Hello, President Lancaster."
President Lancaster's mouth twitched; the last time Amber saw him, she greeted him as Uncle Lancaster.
