Emily arrived today, just as Thomas was busy in the study, while Yvette sat playing with her mobile phone to keep him company while he worked.
An Aunt came by the house, saying Emily was here to see Thomas when Yvette angrily slammed her mobile phone onto the tabletop and glared fiercely at Thomas.
"Why are you looking at me like that? She came to see me; it's not like I asked her to," Thomas said, wearing a helpless expression before turning to ask the Aunt, "You didn't mention I was here, right?"
The Aunt shook her head, "Miss Emily just asked if there was anyone at my home, and I said there was, then let her wait at the doorway; I didn't mention that Madam and mister were both at home."
"Go down and wave her off, just say I'm not here," Thomas nudged Yvette, "Go quickly, don't just stand here glaring at me—it's useless. Your glare won't make her leave. James already called before she came and told me not to meddle in this matter."
