Emily took a step back, then slowly knelt down in front of the siblings Amber and her brother.
"President Edwards, Hannah, I'm kneeling to apologize to you. I'm sorry, it's my fault. Everything about this time is entirely my fault. I'm sorry, I'm begging you to forgive me."
Emily finally stripped away her dignity and pride, trampling her backbone underfoot herself.
