"Just lie down for a while."
Sophie poked him on the chest, teasing him, "Thomas Shannon, why have you become so clingy?"
Thomas Shannon chuckled with his eyes closed, "Today, I don't know who it was, but someone was sticking close to me, insisting I chat with her. She said it had to be me."
Feeling a bit embarrassed after being called out, Sophie hummed twice, "Go to sleep, stop rambling."
Receiving a call from Edward Benson, Thomas Shannon, after having dinner, entered the study room with his mobile phone in hand.
"Edward, what's up?"
"Got some free time, Thomas? Let's go for a drink."
Thinking of Sophie, Thomas Shannon instinctively declined, "No, the maniac can't go without me right now."
Saying this, Thomas Shannon couldn't suppress the upward curl of his lips; Sophie seemed like a sick child, causing a ruckus for her parents.
He couldn't leave her at all, otherwise, who knows what trouble she'd stir up?
"What's up with the maniac?" Edward Benson asked with surprise.
