Chapter 176 - chapter-175

"Tonight, we will discuss the tragic incident at the training camp supervised by the Pussycats, an agency directly associated with the country's leading Pro Hero academy, U.A., where something terrible has occurred..."

"In an unprecedented incident, a terrorist attack carried out by a group of villains believed to belong to the infamous League of Villains has taken the lives of two well-known Pro Heroes. Vlad King and Tiger were both veterans of professional hero work. Several U.A. students were also seriously injured, although fortunately, none remain in critical condition..."

"Sadly, the news does not end there. According to the latest reports, the League of Villains abducted two teenagers: Ibara Shiozaki and Naruto Uzumaki."

"The latter is widely known for his criminal record and unusual admission to U.A. Several people have suggested that the young man may be connected to the attack. Student witnesses report that two villains responsible for the deaths of two victims identified themselves as members of a group called Akatsuki, to which Naruto Uzumaki once belonged..."

"Public uncertainty continues to grow over the alleged existence of this organization. Its members appear to be extremely dangerous individuals who have evaded some of the country's finest Pro Heroes, severely injuring several and killing others..."

"The National Security Council has taken control of the situation. Please wait for further information..."

...….24:00:00...…

"I'll turn this off..."

A private meeting was underway in the U.A. principal's office. Aizawa was still recovering. Nezu sat in thought while quietly drinking tea. A grim Toshinori occupied an armchair with his eyes lowered to the floor. Bandages covered the injury across his chest, which had nearly healed in a short time.

An elderly woman with gray-white hair had switched off the television. She wore the formal suit of a government agent.

"I don't need to explain why I called you here..."

She placed the remote on a cabinet and turned toward the others.

"..." All Might released a heavy sigh and clenched his fists. "I need to be with Naosama-san. I need to help him..."

"No."

The old woman cut off the Symbol of Peace. Sitting alone in another chair, she regarded everyone sternly.

"What I need right now is a pill for this headache because I have to clean up the mess you've left behind."

"Rue-san..." Nezu crossed his paws with a strained smile. Her tone clearly made him uncomfortable, but he had to choose his words carefully. She was not someone he wished to debate, much less contradict. "There is no need to speak to us that way..."

"I'm sorry, but there is. I am the director of the National Security Council, and my phone hasn't stopped ringing. People keep telling me that an unknown group infiltrated a division of the safest academy in the country, killed two Pro Heroes, and injured several students. I have the president himself demanding an answer from me."

Without losing her composure, the woman picked up a cup of tea and began adding sugar.

"Rue-san, I understand that your position is difficult, but this is not the time to argue. We need to act," Aizawa said, attempting to calm the tense atmosphere while maintaining his usual composure.

"Difficult?" The woman put down her tea and smiled as though someone had told her a childish joke without a punch line. "Two Pro Heroes are dead. Six heroines counted among the best in the world are hospitalized. Several students were nearly killed, and a fifteen-year-old Christian girl is missing. You have no idea what this means. The press will eat us alive. I can already imagine the headline: 'Promising Young Heroine Abducted and Murdered Because of the System's Incompetence.' That sounds like a problem for the officials who are pressuring me to act."

"Ma'am..." Toshinori's outline threatened to expand into his heroic form. He restrained himself and remained seated, giving the old woman a warning look. "Let me remind you that young Shiozaki isn't the only person in danger."

"I know everything about Naruto Uzumaki." The woman's smile disappeared, replaced by a serious expression. "All I can say is that it was unfortunate Judge Hama Tehira allowed that threat to remain free. I have already arranged for her removal from office."

The three Pro Heroes tensed. They could all see where this conversation was going.

"Naruto Uzumaki will not be treated as an abducted student. He is a suspect, and he must be... dealt with accordingly."

Then she calmly drank her tea.

Crack.

The cup in Toshinori's hand fractured. He stared at the director of the National Security Council in disbelief.

"Excuse me... but there must be some mistake."

For a moment, he truly wondered whether he had misheard her.

"There is no mistake." The old woman interrupted him again and fixed the Symbol of Peace with a sharp stare. "Allowing that boy to walk free was one of the greatest mistakes anyone could have made. He is unlike nearly any threat we have encountered. He possesses enough power to challenge the world's strongest heroes, and his loyalty is questionable."

"Loyalty?" Aizawa asked angrily.

"Bringing that boy into this academy was the same as carrying in a time bomb. Sooner or later, he would explode and take everyone with him. I don't want to imagine how much damage he might have caused if we had allowed him to continue down this path."

She placed her cup on the table.

"He is not our enemy," All Might growled, his patience nearing its limit.

"Is that so?"

The woman took a dark cube from her pocket and placed it on the table. A screen appeared above it and began playing a recording.

"Hey! Aren't you going to greet your old friends?"

The three heroes immediately recognized the smiling, silver-haired man. The recording Mandalay had made was playing before them.

"F-friends? Naruto... do you know them? You... Who are you? What do you want?"

"We... are Akatsuki. We are an organization made up of the most dangerous shinobi in the world, people who severed every bond with their home villages to join this group. We have an objective, though there is no reason to reveal it now. We serve the highest bidder to gather resources. The job does not matter. We might kidnap a spoiled girl from high society, kill a Daimyō, wipe out one side of a war, or reduce an entire village to ashes. No matter who must be eliminated, we always complete our mission..."

"These two appeared two weeks ago," the older woman began. She opened her briefcase, removed several files, and set them on the table. All Might picked them up and found photographs of both Akatsuki members inside. "They were first sighted on the islands near Hokkaidō. Unfortunately, they reached a military station there... They killed 134 people, including cadets and generals stationed at the base."

"Why didn't I hear about this before?" Nezu asked. He did not like that the information had been concealed.

"Because it was considered disgraceful that only two villains wiped out an entire station housing the best our country had to offer. We would have become a laughingstock to other nations." Rue remained unmoved by their incredulous expressions.

"You concealed this? What did you tell the victims' families?" All Might asked uneasily.

"There was no need. Ninety-eight percent of those killed were homeless people or orphans who wanted to serve their country... Not every problem in this world is solved by people in costumes and spandex." Without another word, she allowed the video to continue. "After learning what happened, we sent special teams after them, but they disappeared as if the earth had swallowed them."

"All For One," Toshinori said grimly.

"Yes..."
