Demyan
Ethan had been avoiding me. It had been three weeks and I had not seen him. He responded to my texts with one word replies and when I tried to organise a playdate between the children, his nanny, Gabby would bring Belli over.
I knew he had spent Christma with his family in Italy whilst we spent ours in Ireland. He also mentioned being in New Zealand for a week but did not elaborate anymore.
I felt like I had ruined things by telling him how I felt, but there was no way I could keep it in me any longer. Being next to him and being unable to touch him, was suffocating. I had made peace with my divorce during this period. Malia and I had our boundaries and I was doing my best at following it.
We had a great friendship and I was happy about that. We had sat down with the children a week ago to explain to them as best as we could without upsetting them that we were not together. Nothing would change but they had to understand so they would not be blindsighted later on.
