Chapter 7 - Authors Notice

Hello everyone, I am the author of "Master of Paradoxical Shapes" and I am here to give a (hiatus)stop notice. I currently don't know where to go with this story. I already have a general plan for what is to come, but nothing that should come right now.

But that doesn't mean I am going to stop writing, rather I am going to write 3 or more short stories that play in the same universe and introduce characters that are going to appear later.

One of them is the story of the chapter "The eternity that churns reality". The story is named the same on Webnovel.

The synopsis is: "

Eternity, a sentient concept. Through years of effort, it discovered a passion and love for learning, and with that passion, it wanted to become a teacher.

Its world of choice is and was war-stricken. His students with grim futures and on the verge of dying. With little thought, he twists their fate and gives them life, childhood, and happiness.

Yet, fate never lets itself be carelessly twisted. Misfortunes strike and death claims the children. Eternity tried interfering, yet its immense power only caused more instability. Realizing its mistake eternity retreats into the far etches outside of reality.

But, to its shock when it left reality went through a great reset. Time was turned, back to the days before it arrived. Forced to watch its students live horrible lives, it began agonizing over its weakness.

"WHY!?!" Day and night it agonized

Day and night it wondered.

"What am I?"

"Who am I?"

Slowly, it understood. "I am their teacher and have to give them the best life possible."

But how? Interfering only makes everything worse.

Then it saw it, Fate.

A predetermined future, taking all freedom from any being. It needs to be destroyed.

But, fate is eternity's connection to reality.

That made it realize.

"I am eternity, the anchor that makes reality exist.

I am eternity, the constant that forces everyone to live their lives without freedom."

Then it knew what it had to do. What the best course of action is. "

The second short story is "Architect of the Hero's Journey", with the synopsis:

"

Staggered steps. 'Give up,' a sinister voice boomed. Yet the steps continued confidently.

'I am Reginald Thronevale,' a haggard voice whispered.

'You can't defeat me,' the sinister voice declared.

Yet the steps continued. 'I define greatness,' the haggard voice continued.

He pointed his sword. 'I am Reginald Thronevale.'

A sigh was heard. 'Pathetic.'

Boom.

The man was smashed into a pillar, that supports the giant castle.

Thud. He fell to the ground. Using his sword as support, he stood up. 'I am Reginald Thornevale,' the man declared with a gaping hole in his chest.

'I define the pinnacle of greatness!' despite every broken bone, he shouted.

'In my vastness, you commoners, gaze upon my grace!' the man's voice grew.

'A noble spirit in a superior place! I AM REGINALD THORNEVALE!' the man shouted for the world to hear.

'I DEFINE THE PINNACLE OF GREATNESS!

I AM REGINALD THORNEVALE!' the walls began shaking!

'IN MY VASTNESS, YOU COMMONERS, GAZE UPON MY GRACE,' the man raised his sword.

'I AM … kugh.'

'It's a shame your strength is not as high as your arrogance is,' the sinister voice said in a genuinely sad tone.

The man fell, his life having ended.

'Whatever,' the sinister voice grew bored.

***

A man awoke in a room decorated with countless paintings, gold, and royal furniture. '...REGINALD,' the man screamed his name before stopping confused.

His gaze scanned his surroundings, confusion growing in his eyes.

'This is … my room?' Reginald spoke.

He gazed out of his window that seemed to encompass the entire wall.

Outside he saw a banner, a dragon's head depicted on it.

'The dragon subjugation? Wasn't that seven years ago?'

'Did I … return to the past?'

"

The third story is "The Torch that carries a Story", with the synopsis:

"

In the regal embrace of fate, First Princess Seraphine Astralynn finds herself entangled in a web of uncertainty — ensnared in echoing accusations, burdened by revelations that pierce like a recurring dagger of agony. The grand ceremony that was to crown her as the crown Princess unravels into a grim tale.

Challenged by the First Prince's damning words — "Father, this woman is neither your daughter nor the true first Princess" — Seraphine's destiny takes a dark turn. Documents from her days in the orphanage emerge as haunting proof, halting the coronation indefinitely and leading to the house arrest of both the First Princess and the First Prince.

Weeks drift by, and Seraphine, now treated as a traitor, is summoned before the emperor. The verdict is a thunderous shock — "For impersonating a member of the royal family, First Princess Seraphine Astralynn will be stripped of her status, title, and executed in five days."

The weight of disbelief bears heavily on everyone, Seraphine included. Her desperate plea — "It can't be true!" — her words fall on deaf ears. Yet, defiance prevails. Rather than yielding to her grim fate, she resolves to steal the empire's greatest treasure and flee.

Ironically, this quest for freedom only hastens her demise, as death claims her just three days after the fatal verdict. However, in a surreal twist, First Princess Seraphine awakens to the sight of herself preparing for the very coronation she had been unjustly denied, a haunting loop of destiny, tormenting and relentless."

These are the three short stories that I am definitely going to be writing. I don't yet know the upload schedule, but for "Architect of the Hero's Journey" a chapter should come out this week( of the 29.01.2024). Other than that I am probably going to first finish "The Eternity that Churns Reality", then second "Architect of the Hero's Journey", and last "The Torch that Carries a Story"

You can find these by searching the names on Webnovel or by clicking on my pen name (AllMightyGodOfCatsAndDogs) and going to original works.

I hope you enjoy these works as much as I do.
