A boy with black hair as smooth as jade and eyes as clear as the sparkling ocean was walking in the hallway of the classroom...

One would think he is cold and arrogant if only he isn't humming along while walking which gives a contrast to his disposition, making him look cute instead...
Why wouldn't he, after all this was his second anniversary with his girlfriend Jianne, who is both gentle and beautiful...
In his hand is a beautiful necklace adorned with diamonds which is a gift he prepared for her...
Besides he also made a plan in case they both decided to celebrate their anniversary instead of just giving gifts....

"Jeff, let's break up"
That was the first sentence he heard when he greeted her and was about to talk about their anniversary plan and his supposed to be gift.
Jeffrey's mind is buzzing, he doesn't know what he just heard
He was prepared to have a happy afternoon but this clearly dampen and wash away his happy thoughts...
'Did i just heard that right? Or is this a joke prank for their anniversary.'
He was stiff at first due to shock, but him being trained greatly in his family for social etiquette where mannerism and conduct were greatly practiced quickly composed himself...
'Calm down Jeff, Calm down.... It was too sudden let's get an explanation first'
As he recovered from his dazed look , he composed himself and look at her.
"May I ask why?"
Jeff looked at her looking for an indication that this was just a prank Jianne had prepared for him...
'Or maybe this relationship itself is the prank?'
Jeff couldn't help but doubt... thinking maybe Jianne and her friends created this long term prank of 2 years and maybe They are near this place secretly recording their conversation and laughing at him later for either spite or amusement
Jeff couldn't help but think:
'Is the relationship itself a lie? A dare game that she had to take because she lost? Or is she messing with my feelings knowing about my circumstances?'
Not to brag but he is quite popular, He had good grades, good family background, excellent resources, a prodigy, and have a face that would not lose to people

Jianne looked at him straight and said: "Because why not? Isn't it a normal thing for a relationship to break, and have a break up, our situation is just one of them"
Jeff hearing this answer couldn't help but stiffen, as he looked at her, not knowing that the way he looked at her changed for a brief moment... Before he looked calm and collected, amiable even but for a second although his face was calm his eyes were not... As if a surging wave is being accumulated and is about to cause a catastrophe...before instantly becoming calm once more.
His heart however is in inner turmoil, as if a storm is brewing inside him and apart of him being destroyed and cracked...
"Okay, I guess it was normal for people to break up"
Despite the turmoil in his heart he said: "I cannot restrict you, you have your own choice and your own life to live. I agree, Let's break up"
He was frustrated, He was in a good mood earlier... He loved her but what is the outcome?
Jianne was his first love and this was his first relationship...
As if venting his frustration, Jeff added in a cold voice: "This relationship wasn't even official to begin with... No one knowns our relationship"
His mind was buzzing, all the dreams he had envisioned with her, his aspiration for their future such as family, house, bond where slowly shattering... pieces to pieces until all of it shattered... His memories with her, the time they spent slowly cracking and disappearing until nothing but bits and pieces is left
"I didn't even" Jeff added letting loose of everything
However he could not continue. He cannot afford to lie to himself... He cant say it...
Until it only become an after thought in his mind
'love you...to... begin... with'
He cannot say that he didn't love her to begin with, that would be a lie.
Instead Jeff said:
"Thank you.. for everything till now... and the memories... we made... goodbye"
