Why did I see it coming?
Not the bed part obviously.It's a tempting offer of course .I can't deny it.This man has made it his business to give me temptations for the night.
But I also have to practise my self control.
Because whatever he is saying sounds like something I would really need for the night that I have just had.
But I can't. And I tell him just that.
He looks disappointed but does he have a choice though.
Of course he wouldn't kidnap me again.
We've both had long nights. I can't deny that fact .
Allowing David to take me to my room would lead to something longer and I don't want to make it look like it's a mistake.
He reluctantly lets me go.
In the taxi all I can think of is his face when he was letting me go .
My hands itch to dial his number and call him or even text him to tell him that I've changed my mind but I guess there is always that part of my brain that is still working .I manage to get to the Banes mansion with a sane mind at least.
