First time in his life Forth forced himself not to fire the bullet. The urge to empty his entire pistol in Bright's head was strong but he was the leader for a reason. He can't lose his calm at any point. He lowered his gun and others followed the same.
Sarawat breaks the silence, " What you want Bright, I am sure you are here with some motto ? "
" He is here for revenge P'. Can't you see his motto ? " Forth answered.
" Just shut up Forth, you are the starting point for everything. Don't you forget your past deeds. Karma will hit you back." Sarawat was losing his calm between them. " I asked you something, Bright ? Are you mute now ? "
On Bright's signal, Sing distributed them files. " This is the quotation for the drug's supply from Hawaii. We like to offer you the business back in Hawaii. The deals include Shipping clearance on 10% for all goods ( legal / illegal ) and partnership on equal basis for drugs & firearms provided from Hawaii and other countries.."
" We have to look deeply in this deal." Bbom responded while looking at Sarawat.
" I will rest at Phana's room. Inform me when my room is ready." Bright buttoned his coat as he stood up.
" What do you mean by that ? This is our home. Go to your fucking hotel or you are a homeless guy now. Hhhhhh ? " Max asked in a furious tone.
" Beam is like my little brother and this is his house. So I am gonna stay in my brother's house, apparently not yours." He pointed his finger toward Max , " or yours." Then at Park.
The door of office opened, " Forth look P' Tine brought a glass heart for me." Beam came in with Rome tailing him behind.
Bright look at Forth and turn at the same time when Beam was reaching near. He pushed Beam and acted as he was trying to catch the glass heart. He almost catches the heart but then he smashes the heart on the floor with his hand above.
His already blooded hand started to bleed again.
" P'..." Beam screamed and helped him to stand up even asked Rome to help him.
" I am sorry Beam, I have weakness these days. I ..... I am sorry." Bright's fake apology was giving a headache to others.
" It's Ok P'. I was about to ask you, Why are you looking so pale and weak to me ?" Beam asked with concern.
Bright pulled Rome near him with his injured hand and put his weight on him. " It's nothing Beam." He said.
" N' Beam, Mr.Kai has been very ill for the last 5 years. He was even constantly being unconscious in his office and home." Sing said.
" Sing.." Bright glared at him.
" I am sorry. He said I must not tell you and N'Phana about this but I can't help it." Sing again apologies to Beam. Again it's a drama.
" Sing call driver we are heading toward hotel." Bright order blood still oozing from his hands. But his eyes were focused on Rome. Rome was also glaring at him. Both were trying to find an unknown emotion in each other's eyes.
" Shut up P'." Beam's loud voice diverted his attention. " You are staying here with me. You can't play with your health for a heartless person." Beam said and all eyes went wide.
" Beam..." Bright glared at him.
" If you can't stop. I will make you do that." Beam said again.
" What do you want to say Beam." Lam asked.
" Do you know anything about him ?" Tul came forward.
Tine and Jin were enjoying the drama. Though Tine was furious because Bright broke his gift but yes the scene he created over a show piece was priceless.
" Lam P' Bright was in love with someone. He even married him. But the man ran away with others. But he is still waiting for him. Look what he did to himself. He even has some brushes on his body." Beam said and all were stunned except Forth, Max, Park and Sarawat. They know the actual truth behind this.
" Beam Mr.Kai is injured go wrap up him well." Forth gritted his teeth. " I mean wrap up his injury well."
" Let's go P'." Beam said and tried to walk with Bright. But Bright stopped and walked backwards where Forth was standing. The glaring competition has started. He bent to take a file from the sofa and murmured in Forth's ears, " Today it was a glass heart. If I didn't get what I wanted. Tomorrow it will be Beam's. He is my nong. Though I can't see him cry, but I will make him shed tears for my revenge. You know how I am Forth." He pushed that file on Forth's chest and walked away grabbing Rome and Beam.
As soon as they left, Forth growled in anger and broke the tea table. Glass was shattered everywhere in the room. Park and Max were frustrated beyond their limits.
" What the fuck you did to him Forth ?" Bbom was angry because of this drama.
" We didn't P'. He is lying and framing us for a false deed." Park retorted but Lam was sure that Park was lying as he was avoiding Lam.
" He can't stay here." Forth grumble again.
" Forth, think carefully. Keep your friend close and enemy closer." Sarawat said.
" But P' ...." Max tried to answer.
" Just shut up." Sarawat didn't give him any chance to complete his sentence. " If you care that much, why didn't you stop Forth ? When he was killing Ricky. I know he was a fraud but at least you had recovered our order and then killed him. Client is waiting, Max."
" P' Sarawat is right. Client is waiting and only he can provide us high quality Hawaiian cocaine. Think Forth." Bbom said.
" Give the client his money back and tell them we will give their order as soon as we find another dealer. Casualty happens these days." Max said calmly.
" Think wise Max.." Bbom
" Max is right. Give the client his money back. We don't have any shortage of money." Forth said. " No more questions Bom. We are not doing any kind of business with Bright. That's it."
" P'Sarawat..." Bbom requested Sarawat.
Sarawat glared at Forth, Max and Park then said, " Let me think. But if they are adamant on this decision I will support it. Let's talk tomorrow in Meeting room. Meet me 11 @ office. See you."
Sarawat left with Tine. Bbom took Jin on a date. Phana and Wayo also have an important meet up. Kit and Ming were in their own world. So the other one was left at home alone.
The trio gathered in Forth's cabin.
" Do you talk to Beam ?" Max asked Forth.
" I tried but he was not listening to me. He said, I should help Bright and let him stay here until he recovers from his heartbreak." Forth's anger was still there in his voice.
" We can't Forth." Max retorted. " Say something Park."
" What do you want, man ? I was thinking about other things." Park said and locked the door. " Listen, I think if we give him what he wants then he will keep quiet and everything will be perfect as always."
" That's not possible. I will never allow shorty near him." Forth said and Max nodded his head. " Any other way."
" Forth at least listen. We know what we did at that time as we are also unaware about the truth. But took the decision on behalf of Rome as he was not in position to take his decision. It was actually a mistake." Park said.
" But that fucker will never understand this. You saw him, he is here with full preparation." Max said.
" That's what I am saying, without our concern also he is gonna take Rome back. Rome is the only thing he wants. And I don't like to say but yes Forth this time he will fight back with more power." Park said.
" I know, I saw his hand. But if he touches my Beam I will cut his hand. He will not be able to fight without a hand." Forth said.
" He will fight with legs." Park retorted and Max & Forth looked at Park. " Listen guys that's not the point, the point is the moment Bright opens his mouth my relationship with Lam would be at risk. You both are married, you will not allow them to divorced you. But Lam will punish me for our actions."
" Or let's play an old game again." Max thought and looked at Forth's direction.
" Didn't I say Shorty will never go near him." Forth retorted.
" Rome is his weakness Forth. He is the only weapon we can use against him" Max said again.
" Think Forth. We have to do something." Park said.
" Call Rome here." An evil grin formed on Forth's face as he knew what he had to do next.
In no time, Park brought Rome to Forth's cabin.
" P' you called me." Rome asked as soon as he entered the cabin. Park locked the door behind.
" Rome I am sorry." Forth started.
" For what P' ? And why are you apologizing." Rome asked as he didn't want his savior to apologize.
" I want you to do something against your will." Forth said.
" I can't P'. I can't do that again. Please spare me." Rome started crying.
The trio was looking at each other. Park came forward. " Hey relax. Shhhhh don't cry. No one is gonna force you to do the thing you don't want." He tried to console Rome.
" Hey shorty, we know you are hurt. We even know you can't stand near him. But we all know, he is here for you. Think wise you showed yourself yesterday and he was here today to get you back. That means he has never derived his attention away from you." Max explains the situation to him.
" Rome, I don't care about others' opinions but we all know Mr. Kai. He will not keep quiet for days to take you back. Either in front of us or on our dead bodies he will take you away from us." Forth said, as he remembered the day when Bright killed 100 of his men for Rome.
The first day when he met Bright flashed again in Rome's memory,
Rome was in Hawaii for an underground mission. He has been working for Forth since he was 13. Forth, knew the short boy was very good at fighting and also beautiful.
Mr. Kai Bright. The king of high quality drug material. His kingdom in Hawaii was unbeatable. His business was rising like his name everywhere. Kawai Sing, his secretary, was like his general. Ruling a nation is not easy but Bright has all qualities to be the one and only. Ruthless, stone hearted and a player. Who thought that a foreign boy will generate his interest. He first saw Rome when his Bodyguard Earth reported about his action. Rome was taking his pictures, when Bright's men caught him red handed.
" So, boy, explain to tell me why you were clicking my photos ?" Bright asked while clicking on the camera button where all he saw was his photos.
" I.... I..." Rome stubble.
" You what ?" Bright look at the boy. He really liked the photo taken by Rome. But he was not gonna tell him that.
" I... Want to join your team." Rome said and Bright's raised his eyebrows.
" And who told you that I have positions open here. Why do you even think that I will hire a pretty boy like you ?" Bright asked.
" Because I am invincible." Rome said with confidence.
" He ha ha ...." Bright's evil laugh covered the air. " Show me some power of yours."
" I can escape from any trap. No one can capture me." Rome said.
" You are here as my prisoner and you dare to say that no one can capture you." Bright asked. Bright has definitely generated his interest in Rome, " Interested."
" I am here because I allow them to capture me. Not because they did. I am here in front of you, still they are not able to touch me without my permission. I challenged you." Rome said.
" And why should I accept this challenge ?" Bright was curious about Rome.
" Haven't you asked why I am here ?" Rome said looking directly in Bright's eyes.
" Earth, call your men." Bright said without cutting the eye contact with Rome. After a single call, 10 men in suits stood in front of Rome and Bright. Bright took a glance of Rome and then his men. The game was like lions gonna catch a mouse. But the mouse asked for it. Isn't he ? " You have a minute. After that they will start hunting you and if they catch you. Your faith will be in my hand." Bright said.
" And if they don't you will grant my wishes." Rome asked excitedly.
Bright again smirked on his excitement. " Wishes ? Who do you think I am ? A jinnee haaa ? Only a single wish." Bright said moving forward.
" Deal." Rome forwarded his hand to shake.
Bright just rolled his eyes, " Your time starts now."
That entire minute Rome was standing in front of Bright. Sing was watching them with open eyes. The story is not as simple as it describes and the boy is definitely not how he looks. Even his boss was behaving differently.
The minute passed quickly and Earth's best men tried to grab Rome. But Forth's smallest bullet was faster than any other thing. He jumped from here to there. He was quick and very good at running. Though he messed up Bright's office, Bright can use him in his work. After seeing a tom and Jerry show live in his office for 10 minutes. He dismissed Earth and his men.
" So was I good ?" Rome asked grinning ear to ear.
" Not at all. But you are useful. Tell me what you want ?" Bright asked.
" I want you."
Flashback ends.
" Rome, what are you thinking ?" Max asked and Rome came back to present time.
" I can't go near him P'Forth." Rome asked Forth's help.
" Fine. No one is going to force you. Go and rest." Forth dismissed him, " What now ?" He asked Park and Max.
" Let's call it night. Will talk tomorrow." Max said and they all left for the room.
Beam was waiting for Forth. " Hey, why are you late ?"
" Business baby. Are you waiting for me ?" Forth asked his husband and sat down between his legs resting his head on Beam's lap.
" Are you worried ? Did you have a bad day ?' He asked.
" No. Actually....Hmmmmm ?" Forth said, " Have you made any mistakes in your past ?" He asked Beam.
" Sleeping around crazily. Does this count as a mistake ?" Beam retort.
" Not that. Let me rephrase it. Have you hurt someone unintentionally ?" Forth asked.
" Come on, you are a Mafia. You kill people. I have seen it. Why do you care about others? " Beam asked.
" Yeah I do and will do in future. But hurting lovers is different." Forth retort.
Beam was just staring at the man in his lap.
" It was a long day. Let's sleep."
Another day,
Forth's dining room was getting full of people. All were sitting and chatting on the breakfast table. After breakfast Forth and his team left for the office.
" Are you sure it's fine to leave Beam and Wayo with Bright ?" Park asked.
" He can use them to blackmail us." Max said.
" If he wants that, he will not wait. They are safe with him. FOR NOW." Forth answered.
Meeting started,
" I thought about it." Sarawat said " This is the time Forth, let's clear the misunderstanding with Bright." He continued further.
" He is not a forgivable man P'." Park said.
" He might give us back double what we did to him." Forth agreed with Park.
" Then tell us what exactly happened between you guys ?" Lam asked.
" Yes Max, You are too quiet from yesterday night. I remember the mission clearly. You, Park and Forth went there to rescue Rome. Right ?" Tul added,
The trio looked at each other and gulped. Sarawat took the clue that they were unable to speak in front of the guys. " Guys, don't beat around the bushes. Just take the offer from Bright. Forth Ok ?" Forth didn't answer. He turned to Park, " Park what about you." Park turned his gaze. Sarawat looked at Max, " Say something Max." Max just sighs. They were never tongue tight before. Bbom guess instantly that they had pissed Kai Bright for royal when they took back Rome. He has to meddle with the decision.
" P'wat I will talk and continued with Mr. Kai further. Don't worry about him." Bbom just said that, when Forth's mobile showed a message from Sing. It was a video. In that video, Beam was intimately dancing with Bright in their house. As soon as he saw the video he was burning with anger. He just left the meeting room without concern.
Guessing his tantrum Tul, quickly accessed the CCTV footage of their house and saw how all were present there. But maybe they are doing something, playing or acting. He just showed it to Max and they also took their way back home.
Forth came home and dragged Beam to his room without bothering to explain to others. Phana ran to get him but Bright stopped him and shook his head. Wayo was happy as he knew that look on Forth's face.
In Room,
Forth gave a hard push to Beam and he landed on Bed.
" Forth, are you out of your mind ? " He raised his voice.
Forth removed his coat, rolled his shirt's sleeve and clutched Beam's jaw tightly. " You are the one who lost his mind. Didn't I warn you last time ? Or you took my silence as my weakness ? Do you really think you are allowed to do as per your will ? Let me show you who is husband here ?"
Without thinking he tore Beam's shirt and pants. Beam was trying to explain something but he was not ready to listen. Beam was asking something but he didn't want to answer. He just rolled Beam on his stomach, grabbed his neck and rammed his length into Beam's hole's. A line of blood forms between Beam's thighs. Beam was not ready for this. But Forth was not gonna care, he just wanted to satisfy his ego. And he did.
He hurt his husband out of his jealousy. Beam's cries and screams died and he fainted. That's the time when Forth's heart skipped a beat and he saw his own husband lying lifelessly on his bed. Realization hit him. Is he even human ? How can he behave like this to his husband? Beam fainted because of the pain. The pain He gave him. Now it is too late to think. He disconnected himself from his husband and wore his clothes. Then he went to the bathroom and brought a cloth soaked in warm water to clean Beam. After that he put a T-shirt and boxers on Beam. Soon Beam got his consciousness back and looked at Forth with disgust in his eyes.
Forth sat on bed near him, took Beam's hand in his when Beam pulled his hand back. That was the cue Beam doesn't want to talk. He tried to make eye contact with Beam but Beam turned his face away. Forth changed his mind and left him alone in the room. As soon as Forth came down in leaving he saw Bright smirking and others tense faces. Phana and Kit stood up but Forth stopped them, " He is resting. No one's gonna disturb him, until my further orders." Phana glared at him but Bright again shook his head in Phana's direction.
" We need to talk." He said to Bright.
" Lead the way." Bright was not gonna back off. On Forth's sign Park and Max followed him.
In Cabin,
" Let's finish this for once. Let's do it one on one." Forth asked Bright.
" Why so soon ? I love your pain." Bright asked with a serious face.
" Then give it to me directly. Stop targeting my husband dammit. Man up," Forth said looking directly in Bright's voice.
Bright is a calm personality not like Forth, who will get angry easily. That is the main reason they need to remove Bright from the race of Mafia.
He answered calmly, " I am just giving you a taste of your own medicine." Forth tried to grab his collar when Park and Max held him back. Forth mobile took the time to ring.
Rome's name was flashing on it. Bright signaled Forth to receive the call. " Hello." He answered.
" P'Beam is going somewhere P'Forth." Rome said.
" Just follow him and make sure he is safe. Update me on his whereabouts." He cut the call.
" He walked away. Don't worry, I have made sure that my Beamie is safe. But the danger you should be more concerned about is his own husband. That's you." Bright stood at his place. " You came to learn my tricks, but taught me instant. You knew this game Forth. Use the weakest spot to attack deeper. You know your weakest spot." He walked toward Forth and poke his finger in his chest, " It's here. Your heart. You will not die with a bullet. But soon with the heartbreak. Poor boy. I pity you." He walked out of the cabin.
Forth looked at himself in the mirror and threw a nearby pen stand on it. The mirror shattered in pieces. Park & Max looked at each other. Bright was right, Forth is losing his calm when the thing is about Beam.
Rome came back from hospital that night to take some change for Beam. He saw Bright doing his night practice with only his trousers, as smart as he used to be. Rome stopped there for a while and looked at the man.
" Don't stop. Come to me." Bright asked Rome and then turned his head toward the little man. Rome shook his head and took two steps back. " Rome, let's talk." He asked in a calm and lovely tone.
They sat at nearby table.
" How are you ?" Bright started the conversation.
Rome looked at him, tilted his head and blinked his eyes.
Bright sighs, " If you gonna look at me like that, I will kiss you without caring about our location." He said and Rome turned red from cheeks to ears. He avoid seeing Bright.
Bright just chuckled and touched his chin to turn his face in his direction. " Look at me. Are we cool now ?" He asked and Rome nodded his head.
" How was your wound ?" Rome tried to look at his chest which Bright had covered with a bathrobe.
Bright saw him struggling and removed the robe, " You can even touch it. You know that." He grabs Rome's hand and makes him touch his scar over chest.
" Why don't you apply medicine and cover this scar ? " Rome asked.
" It's your gift. I don't want to ruin your gift." Bright said with a smile.
" Go back to Hawaii, Bright. This is my house. I will stay here with my family." Rome said.
" Liar. Your house is there in Hawaii. Your kids miss you. Let's go back." He said again.
" I don't have any kids. Sir Bright, we both know, the jokes, the laughter, whatever happened between us was a drama. Time up, the drama ended. Don't leave it to your imagination." Rome stood up from his spot. " I am the one who stabbed you and gave you that scar. Time will heal all wounds and we will forget each other. Let's end this chapter. I never loved you, a loved one will never see you bleeding and leave you to die. But I did. Isn't it clear a long time ago that I didn't love you." Rome said and turned to go when Bright stopped him.
" Do you know how the scar is still here even after five years ?" Bright looked at Rome in the eyes. He took his hunting knife and stabbed in his heart and opened that scar again. The smile he gave to Rome never left his lips.
" Are you out of your mind Papii ?" Rome took the knife from his hand and made him sit on the chair, pressing his wound with his both hands as the blood was going. " P'Sing..." He screamed.
A tear formed in Bright's eyes, " Hey,look at me. I can handle a thousand wounds like this. This is nothing in front of what you said before." Tears started to roll down from his eyes.
Sing came running with a first aid kit as he was witnessing their conversation. " Hey don't need to panic, I will patch up the wound." He said.
" What do you mean you will do it ? You are not doctor P'. Just get the car ready, I will bring him." Rome shouted.
" Will you calm down..." Bright starts but gets interrupted by a very furious Rome.
" Just shut up Papii. I am witnessing your craziness from the start. And now I am not allowing you to do any stupid thing anymore. P'Sing please call the car." Rome said and made him wear his thin shirt after wrapping a band-aid on wound. He drove Bright to Beam's hospital.
Phana and Beam were serving in the emergency section at night when Rome brought injured Bright with him. After stitching his wound Beam asked Bright.
" P' how did this happen please tell me ?"
" Nothing, Beamie don't worry and do me a favor. I am returning to Hawaii again please tell Forth that it was just a misunderstanding. Please don't make him worried." Bright said while growling in pain.
" What do you mean ? Did Forth do this ?" Beam asked.
Bright just shook his head, " Just forget this topic. Don't think about it " Beam was taking steps back with Bright's each word. " Don't tell anything to Forth. Beaaaam. He didn't do it." Beam was gone far away when Bright completed his sentence with a smirk.
" I really thought that you like Beam." Sing asked, raising his eyebrow.
" I do. But he is paying for his husband's deed. Forth took my happiness away from me and hide him for 5 years. Did you know the pain of separation is 10 times more than stabbing your heart from a knife. With a knife a man dies at once with separation from his loved one the man dies each and every second. Tell me which pain is bigger ?" Bright asked, still looking at the door's direction.
" You know this love thing better than me Bright." Sing said looking at Bright because he was wailing in pain suddenly. Then he heard footsteps.
" Hey are you OK ? " Rome saw him in pain and ran toward him.
" Every time it hurts when you leave me alone." Bright said and Sing only shook his head in disbelief. The Mafia lord, The Hawaii King, The martial arts expert was wailing like a baby only for some attention from a boy. He sighs, he is never gonna understand this love shit.
Beam drove directly to Jaturapoom empire's head office as he received news from Lilly that Forth was also not going back to home. He walked angrily to Forth's cabin where he was sitting with his team. Beam entered. Forth took the chance and walked toward him with an apologetic expression.
" So..." Before he can even complete his word Beam gave him a tight slap.
