The air suddenly froze, Isabella Harrison's wrist was nearly being crushed.
"So, you asked me those things just now, but weren't actually worried about me, were you?"
Isabella looked at him, "You just said it was fine."
"What about at the beginning?"
Isabella pursed her lips, "Obviously, Yosef Reed is hurt much more seriously than you."
Michael Lees looked coldly at her, the chill in her eyes tightening the string that was stretched taut, as if a bit more tension would suddenly cause it to snap.
In just these short few days, the look she gave him changed too much.
Before, he could clearly see how worried she was about him.
But now, the worry on her face was for someone else... he wouldn't allow it.
He stared at her, his dark eyes like a vat of black ink, seemingly determined to discern any trace of deceitful disguise in her expression.
"Isabella Harrison, are you doing this on purpose?"
