Several days later, Fristy Davis's patience had reached its limit. She was torn, and aside from Mr. Davis, she had no one to turn to. So, she took out the pearl earrings she was wearing when admitted and gave them to the nurse, instructing her to say certain things and to use her mobile phone to call the Davis Family.
Sure enough, the phone call made by the nurse got through.
Following Fristy Davis's instructions, the nurse sternly asked, "This is Ocean City Central Hospital, may I know if this is the Davis Family?"
The nanny answered and hesitated for a moment, saying, "Yes..."
"Are you the owner of the house?"
"No..."
"Could you please have the owner take the call? It's a matter of life and death here."
"Alright... Please hold on." The nanny was just an ordinary woman and couldn't think much about it, especially since it was a call from the hospital; she dared not neglect it and hurriedly fetched Mr. Davis.
