She took Anthony Davis's mobile phone and dialed her home's phone number.
The phone quickly got through: "Hello, Dad... it's Meina."
"Meina, how are you now? Are you hurt? Why couldn't I reach you?" Mr. Johnny asked urgently upon hearing his daughter's voice.
His spouse's plan still left him somewhat uneasy.
"Dad, I'm fine. I got out of the car when the accident happened, wasn't involved, the car got damaged but I'm okay, don't worry. Now... the big brother from the Davis family has already picked me up and we're on our way back to Ocean City. I'll go home tomorrow. Is Mum okay now?"
Emilia Johnny finished speaking and glanced at Anthony Davis, who quietly sat beside her, turning his head to look at the street lights outside the car window.
Mr. Johnny felt relieved upon hearing what his daughter said.
Mrs. Johnny leaned towards the phone, wanting to hear what her daughter was saying. She tugged at her spouse, signaling him to quickly inquire about the situation.
