The worst part was, when he forcefully dragged Flora to pawn the jewelry again, a few people suddenly rushed out and robbed their luggage and Flora's bag.
Ghiovani Herd just came out from the police station, he wanted to report the robbery but didn't dare to; he no longer dared to have any contact with the police.
He wandered in the Capital City for a day, starving to the point of exhaustion, Ghiovani Herd found a few moldy steamed buns thrown by a friend in a trash can and devoured them in a few bites. Flora ate while vomited; she had long been accustomed to living like a noble lady, couldn't bear the hardship, and whenever she retched, she'd get slapped by Ghiovani Herd.
Finally, they secretly climbed onto a coal truck, starved for 20 hours, and then arrived in Loch City.
