Shen Qinglan returned to the busy market, first buying red lanterns, then heading across the street to find Dong Yao and the others.
When she found them, Dong Yao and the group were buying dried fruits.
Shen Qingping pouted, "Third sister, why did it take you so long to buy a lantern?"
Shen Qinglan laughed, "Comparing prices, you know. Third sister just wanted to see which shop had the best-looking lanterns, so I checked out a few more places."
"What kind did you buy then?" Shen Qingping asked again.
Shen Qinglan handed him the bag, "They're all in here. We'll hang them in the courtyard once we're home."
Shen Qingping took it, opened a small hole, closed one eye, and peeked inside, then pouted, "Third sister, you visited so many places, and yet these aren't much to look at."
Shen Qinglan said, "Red lanterns, as long as they're red, doesn't it look the same?"
Shen Qingping tilted his head and thought about it, agreeing that his third sister made a good point.
