The next day
When Shen Qinglan got up, Duan Yunfei was nowhere to be seen, but two maids were setting up breakfast outside the screen.
The soreness all over her body made her unconsciously grit her teeth, secretly cursing Duan Yunfei as a beast, before she finally lifted the covers and got out of bed.
"Is Young Madam awake?"
Hearing the noise, the two little maids asked from outside the screen.
"Yes." Shen Qinglan dressed properly, then asked in a calm voice, "Where is your Young Master?"
"Replying to Young Madam, the Young Master went to see off the guests."
"See off the guests?" Shen Qinglan raised her eyebrows slightly. She strolled out of the bedroom and asked softly, "When did he leave?"
"The Young Master got up at the hour of the rabbit." A maid replied, "He ordered us to bring hot water to serve the Young Madam after washing up, and then instructed us to bring food for the Young Madam before he left."
An alarm came to Shen Qinglan's mind, "What time is it now?"
