Upon hearing her name called by the speaker on stage, Selena Kensington's first reaction was to wonder if there was a mistake.
But then she felt Vivian Sutton, beside her, nudging her to go on stage.
"Go on, go on! It's your turn!"
Seeing Vivian making faces at her, Selena realized that this might be a surprise for her.
The graduates in the hall exchanged glances when they heard Selena's name.
"Really? Selena is here too?"
"I remember she graduated early last year and didn't attend the graduation ceremony..."
"The school is so thoughtful to arrange the degree conferral ceremony for her now."
"Ahhh, but it's really an honor to be her classmate!"
"Look! She's standing up!"
As Selena stood up and walked toward the stage, the hall erupted in applause.
Selena arrived on stage and shook hands with the school leader.
"Congratulations, Selena."
Selena smiled, "Thank you."
