Hearing Selena Kensington's words, Sterling Norwood frowned slightly.
His words held some disagreement, "It's so late, you still want to go?"
Selena was a bit displeased and pushed him again, "Aren't I worried that they might be scared and looking for their mom? We'll just sneak a peek."
Sterling knew that once Selena set her mind on something, if it wasn't fulfilled, it would linger in her heart.
So, he didn't stop her any further.
"Alright, let's go."
Seeing that Sterling was relenting, Selena happily got out of bed.
Sterling held her hand and led her out of the bedroom.
The nursery was right next door, very close.
Also, because the main house was well soundproofed and they worried about not hearing the kids crying, the nursery door was left slightly ajar.
Selena and Sterling quietly entered inside.
The nursery wasn't completely dark.
A warm yellow light illuminated near the crib.
