Scene 01: Beastly and Divine Sterling Awakes
One day, when Selena Kensington awoke in the morning, she immediately sensed that something was off beside her.
Sterling Norwood... why was he staring at her so intensely this early in the morning?
The main reason she woke up was actually because Sterling's gaze was too scorching.
It was impossible for her to ignore.
But Selena, just waking up and still a bit drowsy, didn't pay much attention to Sterling's actions. She reached out, wrapped Sterling's arm behind her neck, and went back to sleep using his arm as a pillow.
This time, however, she didn't fall into a deep sleep because she felt Sterling's body tense slightly as she leaned against him.
It wasn't very obvious, but having shared a bed with him for years, coupled with Sterling's tendency to get jealous over the smallest things, Selena had become acutely attuned to his every movement.
So, she quickly opened her eyes and met Sterling's gaze.
