Hundreds of years passed by quickly in Cedric's seclusion, and the primitive universe kept moving forward...
Stepping out of his seclusion chambers, the first thing he did was to scan his immediate surroundings.
He sensed nothing much was different, which was what he expected all along. He'd be surprised if it did since he specifically told his men that, unless the sector domain was falling apart, they were not to disturb him in the middle of his seclusion.
Of course, if such an event ever truly happened, Cedric would know immediately. His people wouldn't need to disturb him at all; he'd appear before they ever had the need to call him out.
But yes, nothing was wrong in his immediate environment. It's the same as usual. And this also applies for his territory.
