...

They knew exactly what this meant. The God King's ultimatum was absolute. They had failed at WrestleMania. Their careers in the golden empire were officially over. As the Mega Powers celebrated their historic victory in the center of the ring, the camera slowly panned back, capturing the sheer, euphoric energy of the Georgia Dome. The locker room Rebellion had struck a fatal blow. The visual of the golden empire was tarnishing rapidly, piece by piece.

Inside the squared circle, the atmosphere was thick with an intoxicating, purely magical electricity. The Macho Man Randy Savage and The Immortal Hulk Hogan continued to celebrate their historic, monumental victory.

They climbed down from opposite turnbuckles, meeting in the dead center of the ring. They clashed their freshly won World Tag Team Championships together, the heavy gold plates echoing with a metallic clack that resonated through the ringside microphones.

The seventy thousand fans inside the Georgia Dome roared their absolute approval, bathing the two legendary icons in a sustained, deafening ovation.

Savage, his chest heaving with exertion and his neon fringe drenched in sweat, leaned through the middle ropes and aggressively gestured toward a ringside crew member. The technician scrambled forward, handing two live microphones through the cables. Savage tossed one to Hogan, who caught it with a massive hand, before pacing the ring, letting the Madness soak into the canvas one last time.

"Ooooh yeah!" Savage growled into the microphone, his iconic, gravelly voice instantly commanding the attention of the massive stadium. The crowd cheered even louder, hanging onto every single syllable. "I told you... I promised every single one of you in the WWE Universe... and I promised the locker room Rebellion! I said that the Macho Man was going to take a massive, golden chunk right out of Sandro Zhang's Undisputed System! And look what we have right here, yeah!"

Savage hoisted his World Tag Team Championship high above his head, pointing at it with a taped, trembling finger.

"We took the World Tag Team titles!" Savage roared, his eyes wide behind his wrap around sunglasses. "The golden empire is bleeding in Atlanta, Georgia! Dig it!"

The stadium erupted into a chaotic, joyous frenzy. At the commentary desk, Cole, Lawler, and Booker T were practically jumping out of their seats, clapping and cheering along with the fans.

"They did exactly what they said they were going to do!" Cole yelled enthusiastically over the broadcast. "Randy Savage made a promise, and he delivered on the Grandest Stage of Them All!"

"Shucky ducky quack quack, this is what WrestleMania is all about, man!" Booker T laughed, a massive smile on his face.

"This is an absolute disgrace!" JBL grumbled, his face a mask of furious, indignant anger. He slammed his pen onto his notes. "These two senior citizens just stole the spotlight! Big E and Ryback were robbed! This shouldn't even be legal! Sandro Zhang is going to file an injunction, mark my words!"

In the ring, Savage lowered his microphone, stepping aside to let his legendary partner take the floor. Hulk Hogan stepped forward, the Georgia Dome lighting reflecting off his bald head and golden mustache.

"Well let me tell you something, Mean Gene, uh, I mean, let me tell you something, WWE Universe!" Hogan boomed, his voice echoing with that unmistakable, thunderous charisma that had built the company decades prior. "The Mega Powers reunited tonight for one reason and one reason only, brother! To stop the absolute tyranny of the God King! But now that we've taken the gold, now that we've done what we set out to do, we've got a little piece of business we need to take care of right here, right now, dude!"

Hogan looked over at Savage, who gave a slow, solemn nod.

"We want to invite the Chairman of the Board out here!"

Hogan announced, pointing directly at the entrance stage. "Vince McMahon, we know you're back there watching! Come on down to the ring, brother! The Mega Powers need a word with the boss!"

The seventy thousand fans in attendance gasped in collective shock. The commentary team went completely silent for a fraction of a second, entirely caught off guard by the unscripted invitation.

And then, the heavy, driving, aggressive baseline of "No Chance in Hell" absolutely blared through the stadium speakers!

The Georgia Dome exploded!

The fans leaped to their feet, singing along to the iconic lyrics at the absolute top of their lungs.

Stepping out from behind the massive WrestleMania curtain was the Chairman himself, Vince McMahon. He was wearing an immaculate, tailored black suit, looking every bit the billionaire titan of industry. A rare, genuinely surprised but deeply amused smile was plastered across his face. He hit his iconic, exaggerated billionaire strut, swinging his arms wildly as he marched down the incredibly long entrance ramp.

"The boss is here!" Lawler shrieked in pure delight. "Mr. McMahon is answering the call of the Mega Powers!"

Vince climbed the steel steps, wiping his feet on the ring apron, and stepped through the ropes. A ringside technician immediately tossed him a microphone. Vince stood in the center of the ring, flanked by two of the greatest creations in the history of his company.

He waited patiently for his entrance music to fade, letting the massive "VINCE! VINCE! VINCE!" chants wash over the ring.

Vince raised the microphone to his lips, his voice raspy and authoritative.

"First of all," Vince began, turning to look at both men. "Welcome back to the Grandest Stage of Them All. And secondly... congratulations. You two just took down Big E and Ryback, two of the most destructive forces in this industry today. And in doing so, you finally made the Mega Powers the tag team champions that you were always absolutely destined to become all those years ago!"

The crowd cheered wildly at the historical acknowledgment. Decades ago, the Mega Powers had exploded before they could ever capture tag team gold together. Tonight, they had finally completed the prophecy.

Both legends smiled warmly, nodding their heads and thanking the Chairman. But the celebratory mood in the ring slowly began to shift into something much heavier, much more poignant.

Savage stepped forward, his expression turning incredibly serious. The Madness in his eyes was replaced by a deep, profound calm.

"We invited you out here, Vince... yeah, we called the bossman down," Savage said, his voice dropping to a low, quiet rasp that forced the entire stadium to fall absolutely silent to hear him. "Because the Hulkster and the Macho Man... we made a decision in the back. A long time ago, we were enemies. Today, we became brothers again. But tonight... tonight is going to be our last WrestleMania, yeah."

A collective, massive gasp sucked the air right out of the Georgia Dome. The realization hit the seventy thousand fans like a physical blow.

Hogan stepped up, placing a massive hand on Savage's shoulder.

"That's right, brother," Hogan said, his voice thick with genuine emotion, breaking slightly. "It's not just our last WrestleMania. Tonight... tonight was the last match of our careers."

"No..." Cole whispered on commentary, entirely heartbroken. "Are they saying what I think they're saying?"

"We are throwing in the towel today, Vince," Hogan continued, looking around the massive stadium, taking in the sea of faces one final time. "We came back for this one last match because the locker room needed us. Because the fans needed us to stand up to the Undisputed System. But we know the truth, dude. We know our bodies just can't take this kind of punishment anymore. My back, Randy's ribs... the tank is empty, brother. And ending our careers right here, right now, standing together in the center of the ring with the gold around our waists... going out on this note... that's exactly what we wanted."

The silence in the stadium was deafening, a heavy, emotional weight pressing down on every single person in attendance. Fans in the front rows were visibly crying, covering their mouths in shock. They were witnessing the definitive end of an era.

Vince McMahon, his corporate armor completely stripped away, looked at the two men with a mixture of deep sorrow and profound respect.

"Are you sure?" Vince asked softly, his voice echoing through the massive sound system. "Because what I am catching from this... is that you two want to relinquish the World Tag Team Championships after just winning them?"

Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan looked at each other. They didn't hesitate. They both nodded their heads in absolute, unwavering unison.

The fans were deeply saddened, but they understood. Almost immediately, a low rumble began in the upper decks, slowly cascading down to the floor seats until the entire Georgia Dome was united in a massive, thunderous, incredibly emotional chant.

"THANK YOU HOGAN! THANK YOU SAVAGE! THANK YOU HOGAN! THANK YOU SAVAGE!"

With tears in their eyes, Randy Savage unfastened his World Tag Team Championship. Hulk Hogan did the same. They stepped forward and handed the heavy gold belts directly to Vince McMahon. Vince took the titles, holding them respectfully.

Then, in a moment that would be replayed in video packages for the rest of eternity, the three men, the visionary promoter and his two greatest stars, came together in the center of the ring and shared a deep, emotional embrace.

"I have chills all over my body," Booker T said quietly, his voice full of reverence. "We are witnessing the absolute end of a legendary chapter in this business."

Vince stepped back, grabbing Hogan's massive right wrist and Savage's taped left wrist. He raised their hands high into the air, presenting them to the world one final time. The crowd cheered and clapped so loudly it felt like the roof was going to blow completely off the stadium.

Vince stepped out of the ring, allowing the Mega Powers their final moment.

Hogan sat down on the ring canvas. He slowly, methodically unlaced his bright yellow wrestling boots, pulling them off. He removed his yellow knee pads.

Savage did the same. He pulled off his neon wrestling boots, unwrapped the heavy athletic tape from his wrists, and removed his elbow pads.

In the dead center of the ring, illuminated by a single spotlight, they left the boots, the gloves, and the elbow pads piled together on the canvas, the universal, unspoken symbol of a wrestler leaving their career in the ring.

Hogan and Savage stood up in their bare feet.

They waved their hands to the crowds, pointing to all four corners of the stadium, blowing kisses and showing their absolute, unending love to the fans who had supported them for decades.

They slowly turned and walked out of the ring. They walked up the incredibly long WrestleMania ramp, their arms around each other's shoulders. Vince McMahon followed closely behind them. When they reached the top of the entrance stage, they turned back one final time, raised their fists into the air, and disappeared through the curtain, leaving their legendary careers behind them.

The emotional hangover in the Georgia Dome was incredibly heavy. Fans were wiping their eyes, still processing the monumental retirement they had just witnessed.

But WrestleMania does not wait for anyone. The show had to go on, and the God King's ultimatum was still actively looming over the rest of the Undisputed System.

The stadium lights shifted rapidly, washing the arena in a harsh, arrogant pink and black. The heavy, electronic pulse of "Let's Light It Up" abruptly shattered the emotional atmosphere.

The crowd immediately shifted gears, unleashing a massive, hostile wave of boos as the Divas Champion, AJ Lee, skipped out from the curtain.

AJ did not look confident. She looked absolutely frantic. She was flanked tightly by Nikki Bella and Alexa Bliss, and all three Queens of the Undisputed System looked completely stressed.

They had just watched Kofi Kingston fail. They had just watched Big E and Ryback fail. The golden empire was crumbling, and Sandro Zhang's threat of total exile was hanging directly over their heads. If AJ lost the title tonight, the Queens were finished.

"AJ Lee looks terrified, and she absolutely should be!" Lawler noted, his voice returning to its energetic pitch. "She knows that Sandro Zhang is sitting in the back, watching her every single move! She has to retain that championship, or she is out of the Undisputed System!"

"She is the Divas Champion for a reason, King!" JBL argued fiercely, desperately clinging to the fading glory of the faction. "AJ Lee is a submission specialist! And with Nikki and Alexa in her corner, she is completely unstoppable!"

AJ, Nikki, and Alexa marched down the ramp, their eyes darting nervously around the massive stadium. They slid into the ring, AJ clutching her butterfly shaped championship tightly to her chest.

The arena lights dimmed again.

Suddenly, the majestic, classical, and undeniably regal tones of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" began to echo through the Georgia Dome.

The crowd absolutely erupted!

"And here comes the genetic superior!" Cole yelled in absolute delight! "Here comes the future wueen of the WWE!"

Charlotte Flair stepped out from the curtain. She was wearing an incredibly elaborate, stunningly beautiful, peacock feathered robe that trailed behind her on the stage. She looked like absolute royalty.

She hit a perfect, synchronized spin, letting out a massive "WOOOOOO!" that the seventy thousand fans instantly echoed back.

But she was not walking down to the ring alone.

Stepping out from behind her, wearing a flawless, custom tailored crimson suit and strutting with an energy that defied human aging, was the sixteen time World Champion, the Nature Boy, Ric Flair!

"Look who is in her corner!" Booker T laughed, completely losing his mind at the commentary desk. "The dirtiest player in the game! The Nature Boy is here to level the playing field!"

"This is exactly what Charlotte needed!" Lawler cheered. "AJ Lee relies on the numbers game! She relies on Nikki and Alexa to cheat for her! But you cannot out cheat Ric Flair! He wrote the book on dirty tactics!"

Charlotte and Ric strutted down the incredibly long WrestleMania ramp, completely absorbing the adoration of the crowd. They slid under the bottom ropes, entering the ring.

Ric Flair immediately pointed a finger directly at Nikki and Alexa, letting out a loud "WOOOOO!" and strutting across the canvas, completely intimidating the Queens of the Undisputed System.

The referee stepped between Charlotte and AJ Lee. The physical size difference was incredibly pronounced. Charlotte towered over the diminutive champion, looking down at her with absolute, dismissive confidence.

The official took the Divas Championship from AJ's reluctant grasp. He held the gold high in the air, officially declaring the stakes for the contest, before walking over and handing the title through the ropes to the ringside crew.

The referee forced Nikki, Alexa, and Ric Flair to exit the ring and step down to the ringside floor. He backed AJ and Charlotte into their respective corners, ensured both women were ready, and signaled the timekeeper.

DING! DING! DING!

The Divas Championship match was officially underway.

AJ Lee, fueled by the sheer, unadulterated terror of the God King's ultimatum, immediately went on the offensive. She charged forward, utilizing her incredible speed, looking to lock in a flying headscissors takedown.

But Charlotte Flair was a genetic freak of nature. As AJ leaped into the air, Charlotte simply caught her! Charlotte halted all of AJ's forward momentum, holding the champion effortlessly in the air. With a mocking smirk, Charlotte executed a catastrophic, release fallaway slam that launched AJ completely across the ring!
