Yeah honestly I don't have any extra thoughts I can put on here 🤔, I mean uh, I did recently roll for Topaz, ended up getting guinafei to E2, basically the most important ones, uh... Any plans for rolling on huohuo? Thoughts? I think she's pretty decent, plus thinking of adding her to my team since she increases crit rate while healing, and that does a lot since I got blade and Jing Liu, didn't get her lightcone (Jing Liu) though so just coping with the destruction lightcone.

March with her bow aimed at the centaur looking thing says " Woah! Didn't know you could do that!" In a surprised tone as Dan Heng lunges toward the centaur which tries to step on him which he sidesteps and slashes it's leg? Feet? Plates? Whatever it was it hurt as it would seem as it lets out a gutteral roar
'ok fuck I was just being pissy, it seems my abilities work on emotion? Or is it based on feeling? Or maybe-' my thoughts are cut off as I hear a clanging noise dangerously close to my ear as I noticed one of those sword monsters the centaur summoned earlier almost stabbed me blocked by some sort of transparent barrier of ice?
On instinct though I pointed Mash toward the monster who slashed again at the barrier causing cracks to spread as I pulled the trigger a yellow glowing bullet shooting out of it as I jumped back to gain distance
The monster tried to dodge but since it was mid attack before it didn't have a chance as my bullet shot into its stomach and exploded into fire a hole scorched through its armor as it turned to dust
I hear March yell from behind me " HEY, get out of your head, less thinking more shooting with your gun " as a a blue flash of light passes by me and solidifies around Stelle who is fighting one of the sword monsters smashing its head in as it fades to dust
'yeah no she's right, god I'm behaving like this is my first fight, these weird monster things are just setting my off my game' I think seriously as I shake my head quietly assessing the situation as I aim my gun
Dan Heng continues to slice around it's legs as marchl leaps up an impressive amount of feet in the air and let's out a constant volley of arrows that turn into plushies towards its body which flash freezes
Stelle steps up seeing her opening and smashes her bat across it's face sending it staggering as I line up my shot and aim directly at its head
But as I shoot it hops out the way, and releases an angry roar 'ah shit that can't be good' I think to myself as out of nowhere a swarm of that floaty guy I dodged earlier appears out of nowhere hovering menacingly around the centaur
[General PoV] (I know shocking finnally left first person)
Everyone slowly backs up from the monsters who are ominously floating slowly towards us, March panickingly waves her bow around not knowing who to shoot as Steele tries to support the injured Arlan
Unbeknownst to anyone Josh's eyes slowly take on the color black as his cowboy hat flickers dangerously to a darkish orange color as he narrows his eyes at the beasts who are ganging up on them
"Hey! Sore losers, you can't just hang up on us like that!" March says angrily what could she do,if she uses her abilities to their current fullest she could accidentally injure someone
Dan Heng isn't faring well either his mind racing to find out a solution as a shadowy image of a figure with horns flickers through his mind before he shakes his head, no I can do this, I can save everyone...but what can I do other then rely on Him. No don't, I can get through this
As all hope seems lost, from out of nowhere blaring tech music sounds out as a drone flies from behind the elevator tearing through the ranks of the Distorter's summoned by the trampler, slicing clearing out the enemies in front of the bridge before slicing off the horns of the trampler from behind knocking it down, before floating menacingly in front of the team
Not wanting to waste this opportunity the team shares an agreeing nod as the illusory cowboy hat fades from Josh, his eyes turning back to their normal white as they book it past the elevator Dan Heng protecting the behind as he runs with the rest
The legion gives chase after being momentarily shocked lasers shooting behind the ducking and diving crew as Arlan is dragged along by Stelle, seeing the door the crew jumps toward it as it automatically opens shutting hard close behind them
Landing on the ground the team collectively let's out a sigh of relief, despite the noises of the legion shooting at the door being them as they stand up exhausted from the encounter

Sweet sweet normalcy never leave me again, I don't think I'm up for getting jumped in the middle of a space station, already dealt with enough of that during high school
'...wait am I a dropout- ' My thoughts are immediately cut out by the beautiful visage in front of me, a women with long luscious red hair, with a coat defying gravity over her shoulders
A delicate white short dress exemplifying her humongous, large- golden rose choker on her neck, who lets out a sigh 'god step on me- wait no that's wierd thoughts SHUT DOWN, SHUT DOWN!'
"Why does it always have to get this exciting? Anyway atleast your back." An energetic voice sounds out, definitely less than March but I genuinely don't think that girl has an off switch
Actually is Dan Heng her off switch? I mean the sparks between those two are positively negative, eh honestly this whole place is weird Why do I feel nothing
"March, Dan Heng, you've been through a lot." The women In front of us says scanning over the people in front of her, perticularly towards March and Dan Heng
I mean it makes sense- wait why am I narrating what's obviously happening in front of me most importantly why am I unphased
"Whew, Himeko~ What took you so long! That last wave of Antimatter Legion came at us like a swarm of locusts, have you ever tried shooting locusts with a bow?"
I say in a sarcastic tone " I have no idea, but I'm just saying the gun was probably more effective than the bow in that situation" I mean c'mon there was no way that was actually piercing
It seems however my constructive criticism wasnt appreciated by the annoyed glare March is sending to me " Well atleast I didn't freeze mid fight!" She snaps back at me
I raise a finger to argue a point...then my finger slowly lowered as I realized I didn't have any grounds to argue on, Momm- Himeko... seemed to take joy in our banter though as she lets out a giggle " Well you seem chipper enough so it looks like I arrived just on time."
March just puffs her cheeks at himeko in defiance as Himeko holds up her hands in surrender " Sorry, Sorry! Ok March, but I couldn't do much without my orbital cannon. And destroying the station would not facilitate ANY good feelings from Herta."
Himeko finnally sating the rolling parvati in front of her turns to the person we kidnapp- I mean saved, well I exactly didn't do much, but it's the thought that counts right?
" Are you alright Arlan? Asta's been worried about you." As I hear those words I swear I couldn't have had a bigger shit-eating grin as I look to Arlan who intelligently looks away from me
The grin grows bigger as I notice Steele copied my expression " I'm fine, a quick patc- grips his arm -ing up will do. Thanks for asking. I'll report the situation to Lead Researcher Asta immediately, Bye. "
My grin doesn't fade as he slowly limps away " any bets he is gonna crash and burn? I got a random amount of money I borrowed from a chest. " I say amused
Nobody else seemed to get my exact feelings on the subject though Why can't I feel anything- as he limps away " Don't worry there are medical staff stationed nearby, Asta mentioned expecting something like this to happen to him"
Himeko explains calmly to everyone as she turns to Stelle " I'm Himeko navigator of the Astral Express, nice to meet you, and your joking friend over there" she says pointing to me
Oh that was on purpose...I think she is one of my kind, WE MUST TEST IT, later though this situation seems rather dire " in other words she's in charge of where the express goes. And sometimes us too" March tried to mumble that last part but from everyone's gaze I'm pretty sure we all heard it
Looking sharply at March for a second she turns to us " March hasn't been any trouble for you along the way, has she?" March immediately interjects " Think carefully how you wanna answer that" she says looking at us 3 like a Hawk hunting for prey
Me and Stelle look at each other our same 3 braincells choosing the exact same thought at once as we say with no hesitation "I've never met a more reckless girl in my life"
"...That's just my charm! And I didn't cause any trouble. You guys just have to get used to me... Look, Dan Heng agrees, right?" Dan Heng turns his head away from the hopeful looking March
DAMN, I'm just saying couldn't be me
" I have the right to remain silent." Dan Heng says noticing the awkward silence created from March's anticipation
Stelle marches up to March (heh funny) and pats her on the back as she deflates as I comment " It's alright March, this wasn't a winning battle in the first place" and I think she would believe I'm sorry for her if it wasn't for the massive fucking grin on my face
Himeko giggles at our antics " haha, look at you all, you've already gotten really close! come on, Asta has been worried about all of you." She says as she makes a follow me motion as we walk with her
I open my mouth and immediately regret what I said but can't stop it so I attempt to play it off " Oh~ Bringing us to the parents on a first date, that has got to be a red flag for things to come" Himeko just looks at me teasingly
No...NO...NO, I made myself a target I done goofed, ah shit fuck- fuck- fuck, alright play it cool, you got this, prepare for anything, she can't shoot through a reinforced wall God why does it hurt pretending to care
" Oh~ well sorry for the impromptu mixer, however duty calls, can't exactly just leave a girl waiting, after all I'm sure she would love to talk about how someone not part of the express, nor the station got onto here " her eyes slightly locking into me as she walks
Ah shit she knows, I mean it's not like I was exactly not- advertising myself here but still I was hoping for a bit more plausible deniability, gosh dang it chara
Her expression softens noticably though " don't worry your not in any trouble, it's apparently not the first time something like this has happened on the space station, well the random person appearing here, not the legion attack, so don't rack your brain on it too much your gonna have options"
I let out a deep breath of relief giving a thumbs up as a response as if a huge weight was lifted off me Yet why do I still feel wrong

A dark sludge trudges around sticking around the insides of Josh's jacket yet not being noticed as if it wasn't even there

Bla bla bla, schedule problems, school shit, now onto the important part, the main goal for me during this chapter was to make the MC break out his frabricated identity he crafted for himself, he already noticed there is something fundamentally wrong with himself but can't make heads or tails on it, with that thought though that's all from me
