Adam, Kamora, and Lamor hovered off to the side, looking at the granite crypt in the middle of the Gray Sea.
Kamora had completed its construction. Where the arena once stood, Durand's grave now lay, or rather, what remained of him after her last strike.
"Do you do this to all your opponents?" Adam asked, looking at the tall granite pillars and the faint glow from the crystals all around.
"No." Kamora shook her head. "Durand turned out to be weaker than me, he lost, but that doesn't change the fact that he was a True Lord - one of the few. On the one hand, it's a recognition of his strength. On the other, it's a precaution."
She looked around.
"All this time, I've been scanning the area around us. There's definitely no one here, otherwise, I would've noticed, but I'd rather be sure that no one will interfere with the outcome of our battle. So, for Durand, this was the end."
Adam gave the granite crypt a long look before nodding and turning to Kamora.
