The two of them ran while bickering with each other, and ten minutes later, Jimmy stopped under a big tree, pulling her along.
The tree was very tall, lush, and even though the sun in the sky was like a fireball, it was still cool under the tree, with not a hint of heat in the air. The ground under the tree was bare, unlike other tree bases covered in grass. A few rays of sunlight strained to pierce through the overlapping leaves, barely leaving a faint trace on the ground.
