Selim's cooking skills are excellent, and Laura Jones didn't exaggerate one bit.
Halfway through eating, Laura Jones said:
"You came to my house as a guest and had to get up early to make breakfast for me. I feel bad about it."
"It's nothing. I don't have a habit of sleeping in. I don't have anything to do once I'm awake anyway. Besides, you've taken me in, so I should do something to repay you and feel at ease."
Laura Jones was worried that her friend might feel burdened staying here for a long time, so she didn't stop her from helping out a bit, so she could feel comfortable at home.
After breakfast, Laura Jones headed off to school, while Selim stayed at home to write.
