After a few moments, you look better Celebi, I smile at the Guardian of the Forest. He waved at me from Estrella's arms. Well, I guess it's time you all learned how to use your inheritance. Celebi took flight again, we should get some rest though, it's late. Estrella picked up Kiddle's egg and carried it to the incubators. Celebi and Haunter would stand watch while we slept. I awoke to smell of coffee, alright! Breakfast! I got up and found Ame rummaging through the fridge.
Figure it out yet? Nah, she stood up shaking her head. Good, go on git! I've got it, I said. Get the kids up and I'll take care of things here. Estrella comes walking into the kitchen first. Oh good, go grab the eggs from the chicken coop. I hand her a cup of juice when she comes back in. Gimme six and put the rest in the empty basket behind you. As she finished Luna comes in rubbing her eyes out. Morning Daddy! Hugging Estrella from the hip Good Morning sis. Luna? Biscuit dough, go. Yeah! BISCUTS!
She went about grabbing everything she needed for that. Quentin came in the kitchen next, Morning! Short and sweet yeah, that's my boy. Ame came in with Al Ok! set up the table. Quentin, Al, and Luna go feed the animals while we finish this. Ame, will you show Estrella where our water pumps are! By the time they all got back I had most of the spread ready for everyone. Ding! Ahhh my biscuits, as I opened the oven door. RING RING hmm?
I pick up the line and it's DJ, Hey kiddo! What's up? You ok? Can I come see you and Tia? He asked, Yeah buddy! Where are you right now? I just need your address so I can find you, he said to me. Oh? That's great, I sent him a text with the address. I should be there within the next week uncle. Ok son, We'll see you soon. Boy! Is he ever gonna be surprised when he sees everyone here. The girls came back in the house a few moments later. WOW! The property is gorgeous Daddy! Estrella exclaims,Yeah, thanks! It takes some work to keep it that way but it's worth it.
Ame, DJ should be here within a week according to him. This brought a smile to her face. My boy, I haven't seen him in too long. Ame said as she washed her hands. Ya' know? The only reason I leave is to work or when I went on the search for the children. We have the dogs and weapons on hand for protection. So far so good, If I can keep my people safe while this shit goes to hell around us then I'm all for it.

Da-ddy! The chibi version of DJ tries to waddle towards him. He's just getting to know the boy, his ex-girlfriend is being difficult about it. DJ fell victim to predatory behavior. Now he suffered trying to create and maintain a relationship with his toddler. These things were going through his head when his senses went haywire. Everything inside him said, grab Joey! He picked up his boy just in time.
A tear in the fabric of reality appeared. A battle spilled over from the other side of the tear. The creatures were moving far too fast for DJ to see. He caught a glimpse of a giant snake and mongoose that we're going at it, without care for their surroundings. He was running towards his ex. The snake hit her with a ton of bright glowing purple needles. The snake hissed out CHAARRBOK! The white and red furred creature flexed his claws and they began to glow. ZAAAANGOOOOSE!
Holding Joey tightly to his chest he ran to the nearest enclosed space. He still had the baby bag with him. Pulling a bigger sheet he made a sling for his boy and tied him chest to chest. What the fuck!? That was a GOD DAMNED POKEMON BATTLE! What the hell is going on here!? Don't worry little buddy, he pats his son on his back, Dad's got you! I won't let anything happen to you Joey. Another tear brings a Raltz falling through the dimensional rip.
-Raltz's Perspective -
Where am I? Is this still my own world? Oh my what is this energy? There's been a battle near by and he looks directly at the Human with an infant strapped to his chest. He's been the closest to the battle. This feeling? This is similar to the feeling from the Guardian. Is his aura like that other Human's? He thought these things as the human timidly backed away and began fleeing. There! The way his aura flickered it's is identical to the Guardian.
Now I am sure, I must follow him!
Maybe he can lead me to him, or close enough. There was a Pokemon chasing the young Psychic Type, a Scyther. That stinking bug is back. He disappeared in a short burst teleport. Appearing in front of them, this startled DJ greatly and almost forced him to over correct. He caught himself so he wouldn't harm Joey. Speaking to Raltz; DON'T DO THAT! *Sigh* I almost fell on my son. This made me realize why the young human reacted like he did. Most young humans are fragile, I shrug.
-DJ's Perspective-
Oh shit! Don't fall, don't fall, don't fall. Whew! DON'T DO THAT! *Sigh* I almost fell on my son. Why am I trying to explain this to a Pokemon!? I look at Raltz; I know you're a Raltz. One of my favorite Psychic Types! I could never forget you. A strange wave of colored energy washed over us. I think Raltz is trying to communicate with me? I apologize for startling you young human. I am indeed a Raltz. Thevoice flowed smoothly and oddly enough, what I thought it would sound like.
That's OK I said to Raltz, no harm, no foul. Raltz nodded his acknowledgement, I am DJ Uman and this is my son Joey. He patted the infant on his chest.Would you happen to know where I can find the Guardian? I shrugged and shook my head I don't know of any Guardian. Certainly not one connected to Pokemon! My senses went nuts again, I felt it coming. I felt when Raltz threw up a Protect to defend Joey and I. Thank you Raltz, that was a close one!
That Scyther is going to attack again! I felt the intent from the Bug Type. This feeling, is it a skill, can I hone this? RALTZ! That thing just used Swords Dance if I saw what I saw. It rushed us, PLEASE TAKE US SOMEWHERE SAFE! Raltz hugged my leg and we disappeared in a flash of psychic power. Raltz had finally managed to hone in on Lord Celebi's aura signature.
-Abe's Perspective -
Haunter you're really strong buddy! I am grateful to be working with your power. He sticks his tongue out at me while laughing. Something I find amusing, What's that!? We both snap our sight to the point where the power was coalescing. Celebi came down from the treesto investigate. What's going on Abe? The first thing that appears from the teleportation technique. Is a tired and slightly beaten Raltz, then a young man protectively wrapped around a crying infant. They came falling towards the ground at terminal velocity.
HAUNTER, CELEBI check Raltz! My hands already extended trying to slow their fall. I break into movement and make it in time to half catch, half coushin their fall. Mainly trying to keep the little one from being hurt. Young Raltz, How did you get here!?Well, you see my Lord, this young man was running away from a pokemon battle with his child. There was a flicker of Aura that is identical to his, he said pointing at me. I looked closely at the worn out face of my nephew. DJ are you ok? Is the kid ok? Do you need anything? Lord Guardian? What is it? Are you ok? I believe they are relations of yours. At the very least the older one definitely is. When his Aura flares it is similar to yours.
Please Raltz! Just call me Abe. I don't like the fancy titles they get in the way of everything. Looking at DJ, Raltz tells me you got caught in this madness like everyone else. I walked to the porch off my kitchen, come on it'll take a few minutes for the flattop to heat. He followed me, he came out in time to see me handling some herb. Heh! The flattop should be hot by now, I mused. Getting up and returning to the kitchen, I was joined by Ame who smelled the tea brewing. Get over yourself Haunter! I said rolling my eyes at him. There was some chuckles in the room. DJ and Joey his son, they were brought to safety by a Raltz. One of your associates Celebi? The Legendary materialized in the kitchen He is, they were in danger, the child's mother was killed by pokemon. I could understand the Pokemon but everyone else was clueless. Guardian sir? Abe, my name is Abe, Raltz, just call me Abe. Raltz nods at me is this young man your offspring? He asked me directly, shaking my head, No, this is my nephew and his son.
What the hell is going on here? She hollers out, Are you seriously having a conversation with fucking POKEMON!? The last few days should have removed the disbelief! I said, Considering they have begun invading our dimension. We also have 6 pokemon on the property, 3 of which are unique, never seen species.
Daddy? Who is he? Luna asked timidly while pointing at DJ. This is our nephew, your cousin DJ and his son Joey.
If the last few days hasn't informed you, this world is going to hell in a handbasket! Joey doesn't warm up to anyone! Aside from crying after his nap because he didn't recognize his surroundings. He has yet to be overly fussy or shy away from anyone. I'm glad this isn't as hard as it was looking. If you've heard the Pokemon you know they refer to me as Guardian. Give it time I'm sure you being around us will kickstart your latent abilities. We're leaving soon, I have been requested to do a job by the God of Pokemon. I am still not sure how I am supposed to protect them, I think you are here for a reason DJ.
Please walk with me, when I met Celebi he was protecting a Pikachu defending its eggs. She didn't make it, but her eggs did. I healed Celebi, during this time is when I met Haunter. The old goofball found a pokeball years back. Saved it for years I til he found a worthy partner. Isn't that right Haunter? Haunt Haunter as Estrella caught up to us, she heard That's right boss in Haunter's voice. She stopped and put a hand to her temple, what was that? Hey Boo! Come in, join us we're rotating the Pokemon eggs.
I know Ame, she's not going to want to come with us. I am not leaving my children here to be in a dying world. With wild pokemon and virtually no means of proper defense. I accepted this Guardian position, I shrug. Kind of hard to deny the God of Pokemon. Especially when he brings my most private creations to life! That brings me to this, She was a truly beautiful creature, not a common Pikachu. An actual Calico Pikachu! Aren't you curious what kind of Pichu would be birthed from these? You'd have the same starter as the Ash!? Maybe it's a girl too?
Estrella looks at me thoughtfully (Abe) I trust you to help me raise one, which ever Pichu is a girl. I will raise the male, Wattkey and Aguana will take the longest to raise. Kiddle only has one evolution. I think she would be a fitting partner for you. That would mean you would be responsible for her life from the moment you accept. Once you agree Pichu is 100 percent your responsibility, No backing out! Ok!, ok, I get it! Estrella says as she looks at the Pichu egg. I hope she will be calico like her mother. I said nothing out loud, but smiled fondly as she gingerly picked up the yellow Pichu egg. She hugged it to her chest and wrapped her shirt around it to keep it warm.
I grab a sheet and showed her how to wrap it around her so she could have her hands free. I put a hand on my daughter's shoulder, one on the Pichu egg. (Abe) This is the beginning of your team, you carry your team captain right here. You're in a unique position! You are the manager, teammate, as well as coach and doctor. But as a hatchling this child will see you as it's Mom. You'd be surprised what an intelligent animal will do to protect their family. I think I have shown you proof of this I shrug again. I lost you once, never again! DJ suddenly says Raltz! Come out now, I know you've been listening this entire time.
Raltz blinked into view, head down I apologize Guardian. Raltz!? What did I ask you? I'm sorry sir, Abe. I wasn't trying to spy, I just really like being around DJ.You humans are very interesting. Ismile at Raltz, it's ok little guy, I patted his head, would you like to be his partner? You would learn how to be with a human. DJ would learn how to be with you. I think that's a fair trade, don't you agree nephew? DJ nodded, Raltz teleported into his lap. How come I understand him? He's a Psychic Type Pokemon, you're hearing it in your head. Ohhhh! That's cool as fuck! (Abe) Oy! We're treating them like kids, you've got one hanging on your chest.
Watch your language in front of them, please. That's all, not fighting you over it. You haven't heard me cuss in front the kids yet. I cut off her retort, she just frowned. I get it you've been with your Momma for this long. I am sorry for that, but look! We've been reunited for less than 72 hours. Things have been extremely hectic and very scifi fantasy. I had to work very hard to overcome myself. The power I exhibit is a result of hard work. Nothing else! You don't get to access what I have with out the work. I shrugged, we have a chance to leave a war torn and decaying world for a new adventure.
I figure we have a week at best to decide who wants to come with us. I have a connection to this little guy. DJ pats Raltz' head, I will do what I have to. I think Joey will love him too (Abe) yeah I so too. I think all the children still need a chance at a clean and safe life. A different climate and awesome creatures sound like a good way to go if you ask me! You 2 are the oldest, and I need you to help me. That's why I'm letting you raise Pichu, and I'm grateful to Raltz for choosing you DJ. Suddenly Kiddle's egg started to move and it leaned against the incubator.
Put that thought on hold! Kiddle, is that you little buddy? Time to welcome you to the world I see. Raltz grab whoever wants to witness the birth of Kiddle, Go! When I Picked up Kiddle's egg it shuddered then began pulsing heat. The pulse evened out with my own which warmed my heart. Raltz took about 3 minutes to return. With Luna and Quentin in tow just before they entered the room the glow intensified.(Quentin, Luna, DJ, Estrella) It's so pretty! All these positive feelings gathered together Celebi blinked into view. Ahhh yes, it's just about time now, it's always a pleasure to witness the birth of a new life.
The egg started knocking and shaking in my hands. Haunter choked on something for a minute then spit out a pokeball. Everyone including Haunter was flabbergasted at this. The cracks in the egg began to appear and the glow and heat rose. It's ok, you're safe little brother! It's ok to come out Kiddle. I sat down on the floor and put the egg between my legs. Kiddle shook and cracked one more time and the glow became too much to tolerate. When the glow was gone there was a small 3 tone gray goat kid with rocky protrusions on the hooves and horn nubs.
It sneezed and some soot shot out of its nostrils. Ki-i-i-id Papa? It asked tilting it's head to the side questioningly. I picked the little guy up, Hey Kiddle nice to meet you. Welcome to the world little man! Caressing it's soft fur, Kiddle began suckling on my fingers. A chorus of Awwwww rang out in the room. Kiddle was really cute, the little dark gray tuft of hair on its head. He was still shaky on his feet, and probably would be for a few days. I honestly thought Wattkey would hatch first, I shrugged. Raltz came closer to the new born, Hello little one, Kiddle is it? Kid Yes the weak and unsure little voice unraveled in my head.
Raltz was about to say something else when there was a bright flash in the room. Lord Arceus, I bowed to the Diety. Please be at ease Abe, I merely wished to see the hatchling, and bring you this. Another flash and there were 3 pokeballs one for each I picked one up and tapped the ball on Kiddle's head. You have 7 days before I will call you to your task. I hope you have chosen your companions well. Young ones.. Estrella and DJ look at Arceus. Yes Lord Arceus? Pokeballs appeared in their hands, for your partners.. Very well then, I leave you to adjust, I shall return in 7days. Arceus blinks out of existence, I'll never get use to that. I remark after the Diety left. A week huh? DJ asked nervously, Yup! I am bringing the van with us. Just enough space for us all, we're headed to a specific location. Everything we will need should be found there.
-Time Skip-
3 days later; Estrella was walking around the garden with Luna, and the Pichu egg. Picking some fruit for the day, and possibly a special desert later. The egg begins to shake in its sling, at first she didn't notice it. The intensity of the shaking increased. (Estrella) Luna! Go grab a bottle with some moo-moo milk for Pichu, Now! She runs off excitedly, Luna! the pokeball is under my pillow, Go! She sits down against one of the trees and begins talking with her Pichu.
-Estrella's P.O.V-
Hey little one, I hope you're healthy! I'm not gonna lie I'm really nervous about you coming out. But, I really, really want to meet you. To see you, to witness you grow in skill and power. There aren't any real pokemon here, not until you guys started showing up out of those rips in space. Listen Pichu! I hope we're partners until we both grow old. At this pichu's egg began to crack, shaking more vigorously. The glow the egg began emitting beginning to pulse, in time with her future trainers heartbeat. Luna came rushing back with the bottle. Here sissy! She says handing it to me the egg cracked again. The glow from Pichu's egg intensifying.
Estrella CATCH! I look up in time to see the pokeball flying in my direction. I put my hand up without thinking. The ball smack cleanly into my open palm. It stung a little bit I didn't focus on that Pichu's egg cracked and the glow blinded us all for a moment. When the spots started to dissipate from the hatching. Pichu! Pi it said with it's cute little head tilted to the side. Piii chuu! Hey little one, I'm Estrella and I'm going to care for you from now on, ok? I hugged it to my chest, it struggled for a moment but I believe my heartbeat calmed it down.
I heard my Dad say; that is a beautiful sight. Dad! Look, it's a Pichu! (End Estrella's POV) She held it up for me to look at, I knelt down to their level. (Abe) Hello little one I smiled at her. (Pichu) Pi: Who are you? (Abe) I'm Abe Pichu, the young lady that helped you hatch is Estrella. She's my daughter, I explained to the electric mouse. A beautiful shiny pokemon you have there love. Huh? Estrella looked at me with a deadpan expression. I chuckled at her, you probably grew to hate anything related to me for a long time, didn't you? I smiled sadly at her, that's ok, we're here now. Shiny means off color, see her coat? That calico print.
She nods at me, Pichu may I pick you up? Chu: sure. I picked it up and saw that the electric sac on the black side was yellow. Where the tail was spotted yellow brown and black. I noticed that the tip of her tail was rounded into the heart-like top. Pikachu can be differentiated by the notch on their tails. Even her tummy had the same calico patching like her mother. I handed her back to Estrella. (Abe) Thank you for letting me hold you young lady. You have a shiny female Pichu. So you know, Girl power! I shrug. Kiddle came up behind me, inquisitive little goat. (Kiddle) Kiid: Who are you?
(Pichu) Pichu pi pichuuu: I'm Pichu and this is my human. (Kiddle) kid kid kiiiiiid: So you're partnered with my sister? (Estrella) This is the coolest thing ever! Hugging Pichu to her chest, before tapping the pokeball on her head. (Abe) Yes love, it really is! We'll introduce Pichu to Haunter and the rest of the gang. Yes Kiddle she is partnered with Estrella. He did a happy little jump, ok buddy, return. Making our way back in the house I went in the kitchen and began picking stuff out for dinner. (Abe) Luna, why don't you help Estrella make the bread for dinner tonight? I left the recipe card for her to be able to make the rolls we need. I made cheese steaks giving each a choice to have it their own way.
That dinner turned out really good. During the night I collected the supplies needed and the recipes I wanted to perfect. I already had a plan for a mobile kitchen to supplement our journey. Because Kiddle, Wattkey and Aguana aren't going to be enough incentive for Oak Labs to back our journey. Late that night I was up meditating on the events of the last few days. Haunter out and about on the property the guardian of the night. In my meditation the Pichu egg began to wiggle and Haunter was prioritizing the eggs then the children and his partner. Simply because he knew instinctively that's how Abe would handle it. Suddenly the black Pichu egg began to wiggle. Instead of getting Abe, Haunter picked up the Pichu egg and brought it to his partner.
When Haunter reappeared Abe was sitting on the ground meditating. His aura was fluctuating but not in a way Haunter had ever witnessed. Pichu wiggled again (Haunter) *Boss, The Pichu is about to hatch, here* handing the egg to his partner as his eyes opened up. (Abe) I hear you buddy, I opened my eyes. You brought him to me I see. Thank you, that was a wise choice my friend. I took the egg from Hanger and continued to meditate with Pichu in my lap. The energy was different from Kiddle's yet the same.
Pichu began to wiggle and the cracking got louder as the flash intensified. When the flash disappeared there was a pitch black Pichu with yellow tipped ears, tail, and electric sacs. (Pichu) Piiichuuu *Daddy is that you?* (Abe) Hahaha yes little guy, I am. Right then Estrella came running into the room with the Calico Pichu on her shoulder.
(Estrella) Is that a Pichu? The calico jumped over to my shoulder to interact with her sibling. (Abe) He's perfect! I looked up at the sky, Don't worry mama. Watch over them, and witness as they tower over their kind. These two are gonna be something very special, watch! (Estrella) Yeah Cali is special
(Abe) Black will be too, you see those electric sacs? That's big! Bigger than Cali's already. They will train together they will grow together. And as soon as Wattkey is born they will have a tougher training partner with him around too.Celebi appeared in the room right after Pichu hatched. (Celebi) Well what do we have here? The Black Pichu Last time I saw one of your kind was roughly 500 years ago. My eyes got really big
(Abe) He's that rare? (Celebi) If my senses aren't off, he has about 7 egg Moves, three are unlocked. Aside from Pikachu sized electric sacs at birth. This made me scan Pichu (Abe) he has Thunder Punch, Bide, Electric Terrain, Double Slap, Disarming Voice, Reversal, and Volt Tackle. Looks like he already has access to Double Slap, Disarming Voice, and Bide as egg moves. Aside from his basic moveset it appears he will have access to Signal Beam, Shock Wave, and Zap Cannon. Right now he is capable of Mega Punch, Mega Kick, Seismic Toss, Roll Out and Swift. I stared at the screen blankly for a few moments. (Abe) Just what kind of powerhouse are you gonna be Black? (Pichu) Chu Pichu *The Strongest* was Pichu's reply.
-Time Skip-
(Abe) Are you sure you want to stay? I don't know if or when we will be coming back Ame. My little ones are coming with, DJ has expressed his want to come along as well. This is gonna happen in a few moments we're all in! I hope you make it love. We have a way back if we manage to stabilize this gate. As I got those words out Celebi reappears and I get into the van after hugging Ame. I turned the van on and set it in drive, just kept my foot on the brake. There was a flash and Arceus appeared in his larger form.
(Abe) Close your eyes or put on shades if you've got em', cause here we go. A bright flash and we followed Arceus through the portal, just outside Pallet Town limits. When the flash disappeared, we were in a gorgeous little town that looked like a farming town. I parked the van and the kids were staring in wonder as much as I was.
