Auxiliary Chapter 2: The Extinction of the God Devourers

Thousands of years before the birth of Fenrir Endarth...

Before human civilizations rose and fell...

Before the gods established their divine kingdoms...

There existed a race feared throughout creation.

The God Devourers.

To modern races, they were nothing more than ancient myths.

To the gods...

They were a nightmare.

Unlike ordinary beings, God Devourers did not rely on worship, faith, mana, or divine authority to become stronger.

They evolved through consumption.

The stronger their prey, the stronger they became.

They devoured monsters.

They devoured demons.

They devoured angels.

And when their power reached a certain level...

They began hunting gods.

The first divine casualties shook the heavens.

Entire pantheons lost powerful deities.

Celestial realms were destroyed.

Sacred armies vanished.

The balance of existence itself began to crumble.

The most terrifying part was not their strength.

It was their potential.

Every battle made them stronger.

Every victory accelerated their evolution.

Every fallen enemy became nourishment.

No race could predict their limits.

No race could stop their growth.

Among the God Devourers, many bloodlines existed.

Some took the form of lions.

Others resembled serpents, bears, ravens, or beasts never recorded in history.

Yet one bloodline stood above them all.

The Alpha Sovereigns.

The strongest bloodline ever born among the God Devourers.

Their senses could track prey across dimensions.

Their bodies adapted to any battlefield.

Their regenerative abilities bordered on immortality.

And their hunger knew no end.

At the peak of their power, the Wolf Sovereigns ruled countless worlds.

Even gods avoided direct confrontation.

For the first time in history...

The heavens felt fear.

---

Fear eventually became desperation.

Desperation became hatred.

And hatred became war.

The Divine Coalition was formed.

Olympian gods.

Norse gods.

Hindu gods.

Egyptian gods.

Celestial angels.

Primordial titans.

Ancient demon monarchs.

Countless races united under a single purpose.

Destroy the God Devourers.

The war that followed lasted centuries.

Entire galaxies burned.

Worlds vanished.

Dimensions collapsed.

The dead numbered beyond counting.

The God Devourers fought like cornered predators.

Every fallen enemy strengthened them.

Every battlefield became a feast.

But even they could not fight all of creation forever.

One by one, their clans fell.

One by one, their worlds were destroyed.

One by one, their bloodlines disappeared.

Until only a single royal clan remained.

The Alpha Sovereigns.

Their king was said to possess power rivaling creation itself.

A monster capable of devouring stars.

A being even gods feared to name.

Yet despite his strength...

Even he could not change fate.

The final battle took place beyond the edge of known reality.

No records survived.

No witnesses returned.

When the war ended...

The Wolf Sovereigns were gone.

The God Devourers were declared extinct.

The surviving races celebrated.

The heavens rejoiced.

The universe believed the nightmare had finally ended.

They were wrong.

---

Far away from the battlefield...

Hidden within a forgotten realm...

A dying woman cradled an infant.

Her silver hair flowed like moonlight.

Golden blood covered her body.

She had escaped the final battle.

Not as a warrior.

Not as a queen.

But as a mother.

The infant sleeping in her arms possessed crimson eyes.

Eyes unlike any God Devourer before him.

The child carried the final hope of their race.

The last pure-blooded heir.

The woman gently touched his forehead.

Tears filled her eyes.

"My son..."

"You must survive."

A strange seal appeared beneath the child's skin.

Ancient runes wrapped around his soul.

His bloodline disappeared.

His aura vanished.

Even fate itself lost sight of him.

The price was terrible.

The seal would erase all traces of his heritage.

It would conceal his existence from gods.

From angels.

From demons.

From destiny.

The woman smiled weakly.

Then she whispered the final words he would never hear.

"Live, Fenrir."

"Live for all of us."

Moments later, her body dissolved into golden light.

The infant vanished from the hidden realm.

Sent toward Earth.

Sent toward a future unknown.

And as silence returned...

An ancient voice echoed from the darkness beyond creation.

A voice older than the gods.

Older than the God Devourers.

Older than time itself.

"It has begun."

The sleeping presence stirred.

For the first time in countless ages...

Something smiled.

The last God Devourer had survived.

And within him...

Something far more terrifying was waiting to awaken.
