Hey everyone,
I think it's time I was upfront about something.
My writer privileges on this site ended a while back. Even after that, I kept pushing out a chapter every single day, half-expecting things to change if I just kept at it. They haven't, and continuing on like nothing happened, while everyone's expectations are set around a daily schedule, doesn't feel fair to any of you — especially not to the readers who have been here from the start.
So here's where things stand going forward: I'm going privilege-free until this novel is finished. That means I'm no longer writing to meet any platform standard, and I'm letting go of the day-by-day release schedule entirely.
From now on, chapters will come out in batches or whenever I have enough ready, and whenever it feels right.
I feel like what hasn't changed, and what won't change, is the ending. Some of you have stuck with this story for two years now. That kind of loyalty means more to me than I can really express, and I intend to keep my promise to you: I'm seeing this story through to its ending, no matter what.
I don't expect anything back for that really.
I just want to finish what I started, for the people who never gave up on it.
Honestly, I don't think I can put into words what all of this means to me.
I never imagined this novel would find an audience, let alone one that stayed this loyal for this long.
So wherever you're reading this from, however long you've been here.
