"You've always been a terrible liar, Mikhail," Agust suddenly said, but Mikhail didn't seem as surprised. It was almost like he had been expecting this.
Something had to give after all those years interacting with Agust. He had to have learned a thing or two about the man, yet somehow still managed to get to this point.
"You almost fell for it," Mikhail stated, and everyone started in surprise.
They didn't understand what this was at the moment. Hell, they probably wouldn't be able to understand the first thing about anything where these two were involved.
Ilya, who had been watching with a crunched nose and a disapproving look on his face, suddenly looked bright. Like the possibility of Mikhail playing with Agust was something that gave him some sort of reprieve.
Oh, he wanted Mikhail badly; it wasn't even useful hiding it.
"You hate me," Agust stated flatly.
