It came as a surprise to her, really, because she had assumed that the woman would be so mad at them that she wouldn't consider the possibility that her son would need her through this.
It was even a miracle that she was here, and frankly, that was the one thing that the enforcer hadn't considered. For the Kiyoto Luna to be here, with her voice loud like she was telling them she was not leaving.
Nikita knew Luna Irina despised the choice Mikhail had made. It wasn't even something new to her, but what she didn't understand was why the Luna was here.
Was she here to cause more trouble?
Was that why she had traveled far into a home that was on fire, almost literally?
Did she come to seek shit that didn't make sense again?
