"Is it Old Li's Cloud Stepping Fox's turn now?"
Inside the hosting committee room of the Beast Trainer Association, the panel of judges all turned their eyes to one person.
They'd been colleagues for many years, knowing everything about each other's pet beasts like the back of their hand.
"By the looks of the clock, it should be about time." Old Li glanced at the wall-mounted clock and reached out via contract to commune with his pet beast, smiling.
While contacting it, he spoke up confidently, "My Cloud Stepping Fox has been refusing to eat for ages just to slim down. It only eats a little when it's absolutely starving. That boss will have no chance with it!"
