Zahra flinched back. Upon recognising Emma, she quickly became nervous. She usually was when around her. "Wh-what do you mean? Time for what?" she stammered. She made herself a little smaller in Emma's presence, though unsure why.
Emma smiled brightly. Genuinely. "To become who you want to be, silly!" She stepped forward, pressuring Zahra. "I've seen the way you look at me. We all have. You admire me."
When Zahra hit a wall and couldn't retreat any further, Emma extended both her hands. Gently, she took both of Zahra's hands. "You want the elegance, confidence, and self-assuredness that I have. You want the safety, security, and stability that comes with serving a man greater than you. Come with me, and I'll give them to you."
Zahra trembled. Her body was like a deer in headlights. Her light red eyes became lost in the firm but gentle gaze of Emma. Somewhere, she'd known this day would come. She'd wondered if she'd be strong enough to resist.
