"Guh… I-I d… guh!"
Her voice came out broken, barely forming anything coherent before I drove her head down again.
The impact echoed dully against the ground.
Then I spoke again.
"Talk."
"Guh… nn… aaa… I-I don—Guaaak!"
I didn't let her finish.
Her head slammed down again, harder this time.
At this point, I wasn't even holding back anymore. Blood had already spread across the floor, splattered in ways that made it obvious how one-sided this was. It clung to her hair, her face, even my hands. The smell was sharp, metallic, and sticking to the air like it didn't want to leave.
She still refused to say anything.
Stubborn.
Or loyal.
Either way, it was getting annoying.
She had already crossed the line where most people would've broken completely. The damage alone should've been enough to force something out of her, even if it was just incoherent rambling.
But she held on.
Even so, she wasn't the same anymore.
