The Shinecock Range. It was the mountain range that acted as the boundary between the Quan Empire and The Northern Empire.
It was a place formed by a miracle of nature. The face of the mountain that sided with the Quan Empire was luscious and green, filled with vitality. But the face on the other side was completely covered in a thick sheet of snow. There were no green trees, only tall blue plantations of ice.
Even the beasts from each did not step beyond the border.
Today, the Shinnecock range was standing peaceful, proud, and erect like always. The soldiers of both empires were patrolling the foot of the mountains on their sides while the nearby villages and towns were running like every morning.
There is a saying, "Even in the most quiet times, Peace is illusory." One moment it's there, and the next, everywhere you see is a reign of chaos.
