The roar shook the battlefield.
The force behind it was so immense that several nearby cultivators instinctively covered their ears despite knowing such an action would do nothing against a sound infused with spiritual power.
Amon's body began to change.
Unlike most transformations that cultivators displayed to intimidate their opponents, his was neither majestic nor beautiful. It looked so... disgusting.
His flesh swelled before splitting apart.
New layers of muscle pushed their way through existing ones. Bones cracked and shifted beneath his skin while veins thick as serpents crawled across his body.
Additional arms emerged from his ribs.
Dark scales spread across portions of his torso while silver fur covered others. One shoulder became coated in black chitin resembling the shell of a giant insect. The arm beneath it elongated and twisted until it resembled the forelimb of some ancient predator.
His face fared no better.
